FreeAds.Club Ad Review for June 13, 2021

In this video, Kai and Rob ( @robwillmann ) utilize another ad site to review ads and discuss each one and why it's good or bad.

We have loads of fun. We have simple goals. One of them::

Free Ads Club promotes quality ad writing. We offer a free to join club, with lots of perks (including a free ad), and we help our subscribers learn how to make better ads.

How do we accomplish this?

  • We pay for traffic to our ad site. That way the club members get plenty of ad views on their ads. Lead with value.
  • Our club members learn how to write through our free tips and our review videos. :)
  • We don't allow all ads on our board - only high quality, family-friendly ads.

What are FreeAds.Club Review Videos?

Each week Kai and Rob use free traffic sources to drive traffic to their ad site. They review the ads they view from other sites, and largely make sarcastic comments and make fun of bad ads.

As Kai loves to misquote from Zoidberg: "Your ads are bad and you should feel bad."

Enjoy this latest installment.

Two Ways you can Help Kai and Rob with their new biz:

1. Upvote and share.

We just created our @freeads.club Hive user, so we can use that to promote our business. Kai and I decided to try to grow our #leofinance, #ctp, #alive and Hive earnings.

This account is starting from the beginning. I am using this as an opportunity to teach Kai about supply and demand, profit and loss, break even point, ROI, etc. He's soaking it all up. :) I think I've created a monster.

Your upvotes help support our fledgling business, and help us grow this account.

2. Place a free ad. :)

If you'd like to join our free ads club, go to our site (https://freeads.club) and get your free ad and you'll be in the club. Boom. :D

I can't get my head around how ads can be free, is it profitable for any party, or is it for hobby? How does it work? Or is it still a work in progress?

Great questions. In a nutshell, no, the site isn't free. BUT, the ads are if you don't upgrade anything. The board only has so many ads it will show (I set mine to 99). Then it crawls it's database and shows the ads. The basic ad is free. Upgrades (adding color, images, etc.) costs.

To make the whole thing worthwhile to the advertisers on my ad board, I need to have eyes on my board. I buy traffic from other sites that have audiences that would fit my site.

Makes it worth it to place ads on my site.

I recoup the cost of the leased ad service, and my traffic costs in a few ways:

  1. in upgrades to free ads.
  2. Evergreen affiliate links in the site's emails.
  3. Recurring monthly commisions on anyone who wants to buy an ad board like mine.

To place an ad, you have to sign up via email. The resultant email list is essentially a course on how to write better ads, and other value-driven stuff to help my subscribers do well with their ads. On that list I also promote products and services that I use for my own marketing. I make reseller commisions on anyone who purchases through my affiliate link.

So yeah, it's free. But if you want to upgrade or buy the same tools I use in the course, there's a cost.

Hope that helps.

Fun video Rob and Kai! The less information people have to fill the more likely they will join your list. I never fill in anything where I have to put a phone number. Or I put in an old number that I used to have. Going over to FreeAds.Club to join and put up my ad!

Thanks Lisa. Glad you liked it. And thanks for the ad. I am really trying to ad value to Kai's web property by teaching him that it's important to be a good owner, NOT that your site has all the bells and whistles. It's about us helping people get their offers seen.

So much fun to do the web recordings with him. He's a blast, and smart to boot.

You're welcome, Rob! That is such a great way to spend Father and Son time. Yes, it's important to learn that offering and giving value should be the priority. Now I have to add the picture to the ad. Have a great day!😀
