I can’t think of a great failure story to share.
Multiple times I have failed to take action and did not see feedback early enough. Feedback is so crucial to complete iterations on an idea/product.

Feedback on your efforts is helpful and immediate feedback is better. Unfortunately sometimes it is not available soon enough. And that can be discouraging.
I agree feedback is everything. That is what I like about this group. I made a logo, everyone in my local circle online and offline all said it looked great, and the compliments came flooding in. I popped it into the CTP Telegram group and @blainjones immediately noticed that the text did not match the image and the font needed to be more of the period. Awesome suggestions that will make a much better more professional-looking logo.
Lots of people will tell you your product is great and then when the time comes to buy it ... they suddenly lose interest.

I agree . Feedback is very important. Sometimes it can show me mistakes I have been making.
I have also failed to take action at the right time. Often times that means I am afraid of something.
