Brown Sugar Earl Grey In Janji Jiwa, Me And My Friend Went Around The City Just To Find A Place We Can Sit On

Hello there…
With this post, i want to share about my experience hanging out with a friend during this new restriction in my city due to the pandemic.
First of all, my friend were from another city and she only be here for such a short time, three days to be exact.
I only have time in Friday, because j already have many other plans in another plan.
My friend didnt plan her visit before so i already have many plans scheduled with other people and myself.
We were eating in our favorite noodle restaurant in Multatuli.
Initially, we want to hang out in Starbuck after eating.
The distance between the restaurant and the Starbucks is pretty close, they were basically just in front if each other.
We went to Starbucks but sadly needs to go back because Starbucks only allowing pick up the order or just the takeway.
Its really wad because usually me and my friend hung out in Starbucks a lot.
Since we still want to hang out together, we decided to just go around to find another coffee shop that open.
We go around the city and finally decided to go to an area called Cemara.
That area is a housing area where many wealthier people lived.
I was so surprised to see how almost every shop is opened there, and we can even dine in too.
We actually try to visit the Starbucks there but it seems like the Starbucks have the same policy everywhere.
They’re closed and just opened for takeaway orders.

This is coffee shop called Janji Jiwa.
I try ordering drinks from them for few times through delivery but never actually drink in their coffee shop.
That is the main reason why we decided to go there.
Another reason is because they have quite a famous toast too eventhough we ended up not buying them since we both just were too full to eat more.
There is even more other reason for going there which is their place is pretty empty because most of the people there is delivery guy and they were sitting outside, in a way it gave me and my friend some comfort to be away from people.

As i said before, it’s pretty empty right?
The design of the inside is pretty simple too.
Though its simple, its cozy.
I think that we can feel the coziness from the photos too.

After ordering our drink.
I paid the drink for both of us.
Its just a little treat for my friend that cane from such a far city.

Here is my drink.
I choose something from their Earl Grey category and ended up choosing Brown Sugar Earl Grey for me.
The size that i choose is the large size.
For sugar level, i didnt try to change it.
For the ice, i asked them to make it less ice.
Their less ice is still quite a lit of ice in my standard.
I believe that i have never try earl grey combined with brown sugar but it’s surprisingly taste so good.
Its so sweet tho.
Though i like my earl grey to be pure even without any bit of sugar, sometimes there were days where i just crave something sweet.
I feel happy that i can enjoy my sweet craving in earl grey, which is my favorite tea.
The price of the drink is 30.000 idr.

This is my friend.
Before she move away, we meet up almost everyday but i am quite sad that we can only meet twice a year since last year.
Its such a big change in my life.
