Dear friends! I am pleased to show you this fruit that I love to eat in my desserts, sometimes I use it as decoration, because its beautiful star shape gives us a nice view, this fruit is known by several names, I know it as Carambola or Chinese Tamarind (Star Fruit), it is sweet and sour, combination that I love, at home I usually prepare a delicious sweet snack with this fruit, I just add some spices, sugar and water, this fruit is full of vitamins and minerals, if you want to take advantage of its benefits you should consume it raw in juices and salads!

Me complace mostrarles esta fruta que me encanta comer en mis postres, aveces la uso como decoración, porque su bella forma de estrella nos aporta una linda vista, esta fruta es conocida con varios nombres, yo la conozco como Carambola o Tamarindo Chino, es dulce y ácida, combinación que me encanta, en casa suelo preparar un delicioso bocadillo dulce con esta fruta, solo agrego unas especias azúcar y agua, esta fruta esta llena de vitaminas y minerales, si deseas aprovechar sus beneficios deberas consumirla cruda en jugos y ensaladas!

It is an easy and simple recipe to make, the technique is to cook over low heat and stir constantly, the result will be a beautiful bright colour of this exotic fruit, plus its intense sweet and sour taste is fantastic!
El dulce estará listo en cuanto se haga un caramelo espeso y de color dorado, apagamos el fuego y ponemos servir con galletas o pan! , es una receta fácil y sencilla de hacer, la técnica es cocinar a fuego lento y estar removiendo constantemente, el resultado será un bellísimo color brillante de esta exótica fruta, además su sabor intenso agridulce es fantástica!
