It's not a bird, not a plane... it's Christopher Reeve!.

The Warner Bros. logo appears in black and white, one curtain and the voice of a child's off. An old comic. Blue credits flying by the screen, John Williams trumpets and scarlet "S". Start supermán.

That feeling that came to me the first time I saw her when she premiered on television was indescribable. So many times I had seen Supermán in comics or in cartoons that I did not think I could get to see my favorite superhero in flesh and blood. All the nervous day, wishing that the night will come for the great event. And not only me, my parents and my friends too. It was he does not go anymore, the greatest thing we could expect in our life.

And there it was. Christopher Reeve, sausage in the suit, inseparable from each other. Since then, for me Reeve was supermán and vice versa; I could not imagine it with another face. And the music of John Williams accompanied the character as much or more as the actor of him.

Who does not know her, have seen or have not seen the movie?.

Who has not hummed her while he played unbuttoned his shirt, take off his glasses (use them or not) and raised his fist while imagining the crimson layer waving in the wind?.

Supermán was already immortal by then, but Richard Donner managed to make him unforgettable.

Removing us a little the inevitable nostalgic aura, the film is one of the best adaptations that have ever been made from a comic. Richard Donner, famous a few years later for his saga "Lethal Weapon" and the adventure of "Los Goonies", gave us beautiful and memorable moments on a ribbon that, although he entertains for more than two hours, is sometimes empty and Careness of interest. Good fault of it has the interpretation of Gene Hackman, one of the worst of the brilliant race of him, playing a luthor something simplose and lacking character, which gives the feeling of being a sala enemy for this supermán.

The rest of the actors are correct in their papers, highlighting the always sober and magnetic Marlon Brando as Jor-El, the father of Supermán, who wanted to charge a good sum of money for a few minutes at the beginning. And without leaving the ill-faced Christopher Reeve that, despite not having been a marvel of actor, he knew how to give the character everything he needed and died being supermán even in a wheelchair.

Now, Christopher, you can really fly over the clouds.
