- ¿A quién llevarás contigo?

In preparation for our Halloween, Day of the Dead, Harvest Festival, Odon Festival, etc., we're having an imaginary Hive Ladies tea party in Hawaii! - What are you going to dress up as? - Who will you bring with you? - What dish will you bring to share? Even if you don't celebrate, what would you like to propose as an activity?

Celebrating parties is a different time that happens on special occasions and when there are dates to celebrate.

What a thrill we are going to Hawaii, I have not visited it but if through films and photos it is already a way to imagine myself on that island, with the sun shining and the crystal clear waters of that beautiful sea, white sands.

As they ask for a costume, I would love to dress up as a Hawaiian, to make the stay on the island worthwhile, that skirt, with flower necklaces and with lots of flowers on my head, is a way to feel of the place and enjoy that stay with the costume that we mostly see on the island.
My travel companion is my husband who loves the sea, the beach, the sand. His costume would be the typical Hawaiian costume.

As a Venezuelan I would take to share our traditional tequeños which are a staple at family reunions and other types of gatherings. I would take them with cheese or chocolate filling, as there are recipe suggestions out there, and they can also be with ham and olives.
As an activity for all the guests to participate in, I would organise a dance competition where the rhythm to be performed would be salsa. If possible we would hire a musical group that can make the rhythm of salsa possible and dance Ladies.

Halloween may seem in stark contrast to Hawaii but we can make it work.
I'd be delighted that you'd share a little bit of Venezuelan culture or tradition while wearing a Hawaiian outfit.

Thank you for your entry @mercmarg , aloha!

Love the Hawaiian theme in costumes :) They look cheerful and fun especially with the flowers on the head or hair.

And I won't dare miss your tequeños hehe!
