Men Or Women ~ Who Makes Better Friends?

I wanna thank @glotokens for inviting me to this contest. And also use this opportunity to thanks the Ladies Of Hive Community for their endless and amazing contest questions which I wish to always be a part of but many engagements keep me off or hinder me, but thank God for this round that I am able to participate.

I wanna answer question one of the Ladies Of Hive Community Contest

1️⃣ Do you think men or women make better friends? ...and why?

First, let's see know who a friend is.
Who Is A Friend?
According to the English dictionary,

A friend is a person other than a family member, spouse, or lover, whose company one enjoys and towards whom one feels affection.
An associate who assists.
A person with whom one is vaguely or indirectly acquainted.
A person who backs or supports something.

And then talking about who makes better friends?
I don't think any gender is better off than the other. It all depends on how well one handles his or her friends and what makes their friendship work.

I have very few friends, both genders and I can't really say one does better than the other.
All I can say is that there are certain things I share with my female friends that I can't share with my male friends.

Some female friends have their weaknesses which leads some to betrayal and likewise male friends.
But choosing one over the other because I feel one is a better friend than the other isn't something I can say for sure.

If I trust someone then it means I trust the person and not because the person is a girl or a guy.
We have many advantages and disadvantages of having or keeping male close friends, and the same with female close friends that cannot be trusted.
At some point, jealousy might set in especially for the females. If one friend is doing better and excelling in all fields, the other friend may likely become jealous, envious and it may breed hatred and sometimes can lead to something really bad

So for the question, my answer is that none is a better fit, they are all the same depending on how well or how bad we handle and manage the friendship.

I am glad to be a part of the 22 round of the Ladies Of Hive Contest, I hope to see more of their contests and participate as well.
