Why I tripled my BATs Holdings 10 days ago ... And already made a >20% profit !

Dear HODLers,

As many of you already know I do believe in Brave Browser and company as well as in there BAT token even if we do not have a lot of uses today.

The price of BAT has been performing very well over the past few month coming from a floor of 0.08$ to close to 0.26$.

In my opinion, this is due to the following factors:

  • A mass market working product
  • An increasing number of users (>to 5mn Daily Active Users)
  • A clear and simple rewards system
  • A strong foundation/company driven to develop and leverage their active users
  • People are looking for more privacy while browsing and Brave can offer this

Lately there has been some backlash on Brave using its own referral code while referring its users to Binance.com.

In the end, the company canceled this and will probably not be caught again doing this kind of sneaky thing.

Why did I invest a lot 10 days ago?

  1. Brave announced good users data as in my article above states

  2. They are developing new products as their own encrypted video call service

  3. It seem that we could soon see a Brave's version of Youtube ! Bullish

  4. Google Trends are still rising and seem to show an ongoing users increase ! (check below)

Considering all of these fundamentals events and myself simply looking at the google Trends below.

They are on the rise and allowed me to make a c.20% profit (bought around 0.21$).

I earned 5$ last month with limiting adds. So, about 19-20 BAT.
Not so bad right? It depends a lot on your country, etc...

Nice Brave earning you BAT you can exchange for HIVE you can use to play KryptoGamers to earn GAMER tokens to stake to earn dividends back in the form of HIVE and STEEM.

Well I used to loose a lot on Kryptogamers, now I play less and try to stake as dividends have been CRAZY lately !

But gambling is an addiction hat I am not proud of tbh...

hahahaha you and me both, yea dude I've been watching you. I was in KryptoGamers since the beg. I had 33m gamer tokens but I lost about 4,500 steem in 2 years to get that. After everything I got about 1500 steem back from dividends and I just sold all 33m for 1,825. I think there is still potential in KryptoGamers but it seems a little risky at this point.

Even though now that HIVE is listed on DAPP radar, it created more visilbility into activity going on in KryptoGamers for non Hive / Steem users. If Kryptogamers had the same volume as some Tron / ETH gambling sites, 33m gamer tokens would be worth probably 15x than it is now from the tokens alone not considering the dividend payout. It's a huge gamble at this point but huge return for early birds like you. I just don't see much new development in the UI / Front end, which I think will deter any serious volume beyond what you see now until an upgrade like that happens. Because of the laziness and lack of UI upgrades in 3 years, I have lost faith and assume some HIVE dev will copy the backend with an upgraded front end and take the opportunity that KryptoGamers didn't run with.

Not trying to scare you just trying to hold the Dev more accountable, if I saw a UI upgrade to Kryptogamers, I'd fomo back into my tokens (maybe)

I would imagine more like 100x as just the last few days I got c. 10-20 Steem/Hive for 28mns tokens. Meaning at current token prices it is giving me an average DAILY return of close to 1-2% ! This is insane.

But I get all of your points and if they developer would improve the platform, there is A LOT of money to be made.

I am not buying more Tokens and just "earning" them at the moment.

Nice, I have a couple of BATs in my mobile wallet and on desktop wallet, I really don't even mind just having and keeping it, i wish the ads came in more but maybe its due to my location, I seldom get ads, so my rewards are really tiny. Anyway cool project, I like the browser anyway so no issues at all in using it even without being rewarded.

Im looking forward to a stronger "Brave type of company", its high time they had a competition...

Indeed, I believe in Africa you will not have a lot of ads unfortunately but it might increase in the future.

Let's see later on and I am also HODLing these because I believe this company/crypto is well-runned and it "makes sense".

I totally agree with you. In addition, the developers are working on a video platform which is called "youtube killer" even from now. Besides, the usecase of BAT token will increase drasticly. I also hodl some BAT for good days :)
