Intro

The most common tiny insect around the house is the dragonfly. This is an insect known to all of us. Dragonflies of different colors are seen sitting on the leaves of a tree or on a pole. Sometimes at night, near the light of an electric lamp, you can see the dragonfly sitting in peace.

The dragonfly sits on something and shakes its head as seriously as a horse's head. Sometimes they gently chew their front legs between their mouths. They are not afraid to move someone's fingers close to their mouths, that is, to move someone's hands closer to them. Even if a leaf or something else is placed near their head, they are not afraid. They swallow them with great ease. Then suddenly with a light sound it flew wherever it wanted.

Memories of the past

We had a different kind of childhood. In the morning we would go out with a group of friends to catch the dragonfly. Numerous dragonflies used to play on the poles or on the leaves of small trees in the hot afternoon sun. We would all catch the dragonfly by sticking glue on one end of a stick and hold the dragonfly we got in our hands.

From then on, a little different feeling and love for Dragonfly began. So when I see the dragonfly, my eyes still get stuck and my childhood memories start to fade. Yet the mischievous memories of childhood with the dragonfly floated before my eyes. Wishing to go back to those childhood memories again.

Midnight Guest

Sometimes other animals, like humans, become our guests in our homes. Maybe we don't treat them like our guests. But they are not ashamed to say so. A few days ago this dragonfly came to my house as a guest at midnight. Due to the electric light in the room at night, it has probably entered as a sleeping guest to eat mosquitoes.

At midnight when I was going to the washroom to respond to the call of nature. Then I saw this dragon-fly flying back and forth and it was making quite a noise. Again it couldn’t fly much. I picked it up and did some photography. Then I opened the window and tried for a while to send it out through the window. But it was flying inside the room again. Then I fell asleep and woke up in the morning to find it was no longer inside the room. Maybe it left the room before me. That means my guest left the room before me and left me asleep.
