More Lace Socks!

(Edited)

After finishing my green lace knee-highs I could not wait to get some more socks on the needles. After poring over my many patterns, I decided on a fishnet pattern from one of my books. They are knit from the toe up. I have 3 balls of sock yarn, so I started both socks at once and will knit until I run out of yarn. Maybe these will be thigh-highs! But the fishnet pattern should go quickly.

I started on short wooden needles in 2.25mm size, then switched to my longer aluminum needles once I got to the 64 stitches for the foot.

In other news, here is the lace top of my new dress with the sleeves pinned in place:

Oh they look amazing already. I'm a big sock knitting addict, I can't wait to see more photos as these progress.

I know what you mean. Most of my products are winter scarves. I need to make some bridal items or other summery things to keep selling year round.
