Test Knitting for a Friend

I mentioned last week that I was test knitting a new pattern for Deplorable Knitter. Here is the baby hat:

I will let y'all know when the pattern is available on etsy. She has it sized from infant through large adult sizes and includes charts with nice, large squares--perfect for my ageing eyesight. Most testers used a solid main color and a variegated contrasting color. That makes this easy fair isle pattern look more complicated than it really is.

I had to unravel it to measure the yarn yardage used for the pattern, but now I plan to knit a new one in a size to fit me! I have enough yarn for several.
