[ENG-SPA] Christmas tree🌲 with scrap materials//Árbol🌲 de Navidad con material de provecho

Today I present you an interesting project on how to make a crochet knitted tree with trunk made with a fabric cone from plastic bag stuffing and stem from pieces of scrap material such as: cd, solid piece, lid and plastic stick. I had been planning to do it for a long time until a few days ago that I consolidated my table Christmas tree. It was 20 cms high. Without further ado I will explain briefly the project.

Hoy les presento un proyecto interesante sobre como confeccionar un árbol tejido a crochet y con tronco realizado con un cono de tela de relleno de bolsas plásticas y tallo de piezas de material de provecho como: cd, pieza sólida, tapa y palito plástico. Desde hace tiempo tenía planteado hacerlo hasta hace unos días que consolidé mi árbol de navidad de mesa. Quedó de 20 cms de alto. Sin más preámbulo paso a explicar de manera breve el proyecto.

Step by step//Paso a paso

Materials//Materiales:

• Winding thread white color.
• Green wick thread.
• Piece of white fabric.
• Silicone.
• Scissors.
• Tape measure.
• Pins.
• 01 piece of red felt (tree stand) and yellow felt (star).
• 01 damaged CD (tree support)
• 01 lollipop stick (tree trunk).
• 01 piece of metal (tree trunk)
• 01 red mayonnaise lid (tree stand)
• 01 Cloth ribbon.

• Hilo pabilo color blanco.
• Hilo pabilo color verde.
• Retazo de tela color blanco.
• Silicón.
• Tijera.
• Cinta métrica.
• Alfileres.
• 01 retazo fieltro color rojo (pie de árbol)y amarillo (estrella).
• 01 CD dañado (soporte de árbol).
• 01 palito de chupeta(tronco del árbol).
• 01 pieza metálica(tronco del árbol).
• 01 Tapa roja de mayonesa(soporte de árbol).
• 01 Lazo de tela.

Abbreviations//Abreviaciones:

Ch: chain(s).
mp: half point.
mpa: half high point.
aum: increases.
pa: high point.
pr: slipped stitch.

Ch: cadena(s).
mp: medio punto.
mpa: medio punto alto.
aum: aumento.
pa: punto alto.
pr: punto deslizado.

Process//Proceso:

White color:

• v1: Chs are cast on until 100cms are covered.
• V2: Return in third ch, make 1pa, 3chs,skip 2 stitches, 2pa, 3chs, skip 2 stitches, 2pa, repeat sequence until end of row
• v3: make a ch, mp, fan 8pa, mp, mp, 8pa,mp, repeat sequence until 100cms is covered.

Color green:

• v4: make mp all the way around.
• Tie knot and hide yarn.

Color blanco:

• v1: Se montan chs hasta cubrir 100cms.
• V2: Devolver en la tercera ch, hacer 1pa, 3chs,saltar 2 puntos, 2pa, 3chs, saltar 2 puntos, 2pa, repetir secuencia hasta terminar vuelta
• v3: hacer una ch, mp, abanico 8pa, mp, 8pa,mp, repetir secuencia hasta cubrir los 100cms.

Color verde:

• v4: Hacer mp toda la vuelta.
• Hacer nudo y ocultar hilo.

Assembly//Ensamblado:

• I made the tree foot with the size of the cd, using red felt.
• With yellow felt I made a star.
• The metal piece had a hole, there I inserted a lollipop stick. Measure 5 cms.
• With silicone I glued the metal piece to the cd.
• With heat I opened a hole in the red lid.
• I made a 15 cm fabric cone, sewed the edge, filled it with plastic bags, closed it a little and inserted the red lid and adjusted it to the shape I wanted.
• I started with the woven strip to cover the cone with several silicone stitches, leaving its pine tree shape.
• At the end, the base of the tree was joined to the trunk with the plastic stick and the red cap.
• I adjusted everything and added the star at the apex and placed the red felt and a ribbon underneath.

• Hice el pie de árbol con la medida del cd, usando fieltro rojo.
• Con fieltro amarillo hice una estrella.
• La pieza metálica tenía un orificio, allí introduje un palito de chupeta. Medida 5 cms.
• Con silicón pegué la pieza metálica al cd.
• Con calor abrí un orificio a la tapa roja.
• Hice un cono de tela de 15 cms, cosí la orilla, por allí lo rellené con bolsas plásticas, cerré un poco e incrusté la tapa roja y ajusté hasta quedar con la forma que deseaba.
• Empecé con la tira tejida a cubrir el cono con varios puntos de silicón y quedando su forma de pino.
• Al final la base del árbol lo uni con el tronco a través del palito plástico y la tapa color rojo.
• Ajusté todo y agregué en el ápice la estrella y coloqué debajo el fieltro rojo y un lazo.

I was happy with this tree, it looked great, everyone in my house liked it, although it took a little work to assemble it, it was perfect to look anywhere, tables, dining room, desks and can also be given as a souvenir.

... Y listo mi Arbolito de Navidad de mesa.

Quedé contenta con este arbolito, quedó genial, a todos en mi casa les gustó, aunque tuvo un poco de trabajo al ensamblarlo, quedó perfecto para lucir en cualquier lugar, mesitas, comedor, escritorios y también se puede obsequiar como souvenir.

• The interesting thing is that I used useful material, I decided not to throw it in the trash, but to find a way to use the 3R's, Recycle ♻, Reuse, Reduce. Always when I make my art I want to add the part of conserving the planet earth by managing to reduce a little the garbage we generate. I invite each one of us to contribute to not throw away so much garbage, but seek to reuse it, it would be our grain of sand.

• Lo interesante es que utilicé material de provecho, decidí no lanzarlo a la basura, sino buscar la forma de utilizar las 3R, Reciclar ♻, Reusar, Reducir. Siempre cuando hago mi arte quiero agregar la parte de conservar el planeta tierra logrando reducir un poco la basura que generamos. Invito a cada uno de nosotros contribuir a no tirar tanta basura, sino buscar reusarlo, sería nuestro granito de arena.
