In you I find solace
The comfort I would have sought for
Came to me without an application
Your shoulders, I rest on
When the case of life lowers my head in anguish
Your hands, always open
To welcome me to stay.
Your words, my life sharpener
Putting me back on track when I wander off
An anchor found in both body and spirit
What more could I have asked for?
In you, I found a friend in need and a friend indeed.
Whenever life throws the question "who is your friend"
The answer always points towards you and no one else.
In a large circle of friends with just you standing out.
You are the family I choose among many.
You are the friend whom I consider as a mother, a sister, a confidant, a lifesaver.
You are worth more than words can describe
And I am fortunate to have you in my life.
Thank you for always being there for me in open and in secret.

El consuelo que hubiera buscado
Vino a mi sin una aplicación
Tus hombros, descanso
Cuando el caso de la vida baje la cabeza angustiada
Tus manos siempre abiertas
Para darme la bienvenida a quedarme.
Tus palabras, afilador de mi vida
Poniéndome de nuevo en el camino cuando me alejo
Un ancla que se encuentra tanto en el cuerpo como en el espíritu.
¿Qué más podría haber pedido?
En ti, encontré un amigo necesitado y un amigo de verdad.
Siempre que la vida lanza la pregunta "quién es tu amigo"
La respuesta siempre apunta hacia ti y hacia nadie más.
En un gran círculo de amigos, solo tú destacando.
Eres la familia que elijo entre muchas.
Eres la amiga a quien considero una madre, una hermana, una confidente, una salvadora.
Vales más de lo que las palabras pueden describir
Y tengo la suerte de tenerte en mi vida.
Gracias por estar siempre ahí para mí en público y en secreto.
