Mandala artworks

I don't know about you but I truly love mandala artworks. Ever since I discovered them, I've been using these throughout the years for different artsy moments and yesterday I felt inspired to create something new as our walls are quite dull currently and I'm in the mood for some good vibes on the walls to help me stay in a positive flow to achieve our goals. With some cool mandalas artworks on the walls in my sight, while I listen to subliminal files to help the good stuff flow, it helps me stay on track.

Mandala colouring sheet

This mandala is one of a set that I bought at the discount store maybe a year ago. I has been in my supplies closet until recently when I discovered that the only colouring I could do on this type of paper, was with my metallic markers from Faber Castell. I shared it here. I didn't pick the best one at the time because I wanted to see how it turned out using the markers. So I saved the best templates for when I had an actual plan to make something cool out of it. Yesterday I had an idea to colour the mandala that I liked most and when done, attach it to a black canvas to have a nice little artwork for our wall.

The Process

I will show you the steps of the process when I started to colour the sheet and decided it was going to become a canvas on the wall.

As you can see here, the super macro lights up the white spots in the image, but in reality, they are not really visible, thankfully. I just wanted to make sure the colours were as vivid as they are in reality. Without the super macro it looked super dull on the picture.

The End Result

As you will notice, it was quite hard to capture it on camera at night time, plus in that particular corner of the apartment. The light there is very bright, or it's just too dark. I had to use the super macro option to show the popping colours on it. It also means that those little white spots that I can't avoid using these markers on this kind of smooth paper are very visible while you can't really see them and the header image (from a distance) is more accurate on how it really looks here. Let me assure you that it looks very cool on the wall and I will create one more tomorrow as I have one little canvas left and also one last colouring sheet that matches this one nicely.

This is beautiful! I love the idea of brightening up your walls with a little colour and some positive intentions. The result is lovely! Mandalas are awesome, I love them too. Actually, I have a post coming up tomorrow about one I made a few days ago, as a bonding activity with my 7 y/o brother.

The little canvas, do you make it yourself or do you buy them? It looks so cute.

I hope you're well, and I'll see you around! Sending hugs and good vibes your way.

Hey there, I wondered why you were so quiet lately! I hope you're doing well <3
Thanks for the compliment, they are lovely mandalas, in so many ways. And it feels so zen to work on them may it be creating them or colouring them, I love it. My daughter too btw haha.

I will check your posts tomorrow, can't wait! That's a cool activity with your brother.

I bought this canvas, I have never made one myself, to be honest. Not sure if that's hard actually. Or if that would even be beneficial. I'm trying to create a lot currently to make sure not too many supplies are unused by the time we are moving from here. I will decide what I take from my creations and what I will sell/give away by that time.

Thanks again for your positive vibes <3

Oh, yes, I've actually been sick. Covid got to me after two years. It would have been very hard to avoid it forever. I've also been in a creative rut, but I'm back to stay! Thank you for remembering me a little haha

That sounds like a great idea! Looking forward to seeing more of your creations.

Oh sorry to hear that, hope you're feeling ok now! I had it last year, was very ill for weeks. Last week I actually fell ill too, didn't think much of it just a cold/throat infection, until the kindergarten wrote during the weekend that several had tested positive. I already stayed in since Wednesday last week, so almost 9 days now. I didn't go through testing hassle as I stayed in any way (so did my bf and daughter). It was riskier leaving and contaminating someone than staying in, especially as I feel ok already.

Of course, I remember you, btw haha.

I will check your profile tomorrow, promise you will see me there!

Oh, right! I remember reading about the covid situation at the kindergarten. I hope you're all well now!

Last week I couldn't even get up! It knocked me down pretty good. But now I'm feeling a lot better, although I'll keep an eye on my breathing situation because I've been experiencing shortness of breath with the slightest things. I'm focusing on getting enough rest, nutritious food, sunlight, and a bit of a sweat every day. Nothing too strenuous.

See you tomorrow, then! ;)

Thank you, yeah then you don't notice these spots, which are not to be avoided thanks to the paper of the sheet. I really love it, which I had more of these, but unfortunately, only 1 left. :)
