Experience [Eng-Esp]

With the little experience I had in life I have realized that thing are changing overtime, I could remember when I was six years old, at that time not even my father had a television, that thing called television in my community were hard to find, where we could only see it was at our neighbors house, I remember how our neighbor used to struggle before his DVD decoder would accept a cassette and start showing what was there on the TV.

His TV was black and white and he would have to cover something like a raincoat before it became a digital TV and the colors would draw on the screen like a rainbow we were always happy, I guess those were the happiest times of our life, and if our mothers dare come looking for us in the name of "come and let's go home, it's night" we will always be sad and even cry on the way home, but do you know the funniest thing? here? even our mother's sometimes feeds their eyes for a while before they could call us out of the crowd, our neighbors house was always like a market but he was so kind, I remember how he used to tolerate each and every one of us then and let us enter his house uninvited.

Now that TV can be seen everywhere, no one would look at you even if you bought the world's largest size, it would only be you and yourself who would be relieved that you just met your needs.

When I think about those things more these days, I tend to see how time flies and how material things and electronics don't stand a chance in our life, a few days later, I traveled back to my hometown and met that man who was our neighbor that always shared the little he has with his neighborhood, immediately i saw him, I asked the taxi driver to stop and I walked directly towards him and greeted him, he didn't remember me but I did because back then , I was a child while he was a young man who has children of my age, it was his son who still remembers me and I gave him a handshake.

I also remember those days in elementary school when my friends and I went inside the school farm and we were looking for palm kernels during recess, when I was at home, I called my nephew and asked him if he and his friends used to visit the school farm looking for palm kernels during recess, he was laughing at me and replied, "Why would he do such a thing when Grandma used to give him a jar full of food to eat at school during recess?" time "he's too young, so I didn't try harder to tell him the reasons why I told him what I did.

With all the life experience I have had, "the ones I could remember and the ones I couldn't", I have seen that despite what people face in the past, life gets easier and easier every day, things are changing everyday. which means in the next few years life would be much better than this.

What I have learned in life is the reasons, I do not take anything too seriously, because I know that tomorrow will be better than today, but as in that, the result of what tomorrow will bring is unknown to man.

I conclude that humility is the greatest power that we must cling to for a better future.

Hola @repayme4568 Que buenas letras has traído!

You made me go back to the past and all these, I have experienced it and looking at it now, things have really changed. I remember when we used to buy foods at a lower price, compared to now. Definitely the future will be better than now. We just have to keep hoping for the best. I came through Dreemport 🤗

Does life really get easier everyday. I feel like that is a mirage we live in. life isn't getting easier, it is getting more difficult. Things are becoming more expensive and people and there is so much insecurity now compared to my the good old days. Technology just makes us believe that life is easier because some things are easier like communication and some things are more accessible with the use of internet and smart phones but i still believe the old days were indeed good and better than now.

Yes! This is so true, for the fact that the old ways have been taken away, the beliefs is what we need that tomorrow would be another day.
Thank you so much @zyzymena for coming through.

The world is changing so rapidly .... Things aren't the same way you left it!... Thisew times was priceless because we can't pay money to get those old times!... Do you know how much is that box tv today... It's not even up to 10k per one but look at those flat ones .. expensive because it looks modernized and polished... with great features!
