Within the Viridi, their magic is used to power engines, maintain perpetual furnaces, even to prolong goblin life and comfort the sick. They are also the only members of the Viridi that venture beyond the boundaries of the Smoldering Forest and explore the Splinterlands. Several years ago, a small group of Goblin Firemages was discovered by a Torch scout party defending themselves in the Ashlands against a band of wild trolls. The scouts watched as the Firemages vaporized all five of the towering trolls without breaking a sweat. Now Firemages are considered some of the deadliest warriors in the Burning Lands.

Burn incentive is becoming increasingly important, especially when you compare NFT collections with and without a Burn incentive. Though yes alot of the NFTs are still able to be burned this can be made pointless for NFTs built outside of the ETH system.

This is why Burn incentive and even a merge functionality that can level up a low level asset. The splinterlands cards are able to be burned or merged this functionality is very important for ensuring a consistent value for NFTs produced in the volume that.
