Splinterlands Diary 22.06.22 - Isgald Vorst

Hello friends, with the launch of the new Splinterlands rewards system the game has become much more time-consuming and gradually this rhythm is becoming customary, as well as good rewards falling out in the Diamond Chests. Most likely next season I'll slow down and stay in the Golden League, but there's a chance that in the next week the Crypto-currency rates will recover a bit and then I'll pump the deck and move to the Diamond one, where it's not that easy.

In addition, I need to continue to support my team in Guild Brawl and this round I had only 5 fights, 3 of which I won. The first two were at the expense of my favorite combo of Yodin Zaku and Gladiator Chimney Wallstop, and in the third one I used the much-loved Isgald Vorst, pumped up to level 2.

Since the rules of combat were Silenced Summoners, but I had a lot of mana, I staked on the element of water and chose this lineup:

  • Sea Monster with great health and the ability to regenerate life in the first position;

  • followed by a strong Flying Squid with the ability to attack from the second position

  • the fast gladiator Isgald Vorst with Bloodlust and Opportunity on the third line;

  • to finish off the cards that the gladiator on the fourth line can't handle, put the killer Deeplurker

  • I recently upgraded my Djinn Oshannus to level 2 and enjoy using him in battles with a lot of mana, so I gave him fifth line;

  • and completed the combo with the very fast and deadly Phantom of The Abyss. The high cost of the summon fully justifies its high parameters, so it got one of the leading roles in this battle.

My opponent chose Fire and a powerful Chimney Wallstop, supported by Lava Launcher and Sand Worm, and lowered my melee attacks with Disintegrator, but it didn't help. Level difference made all the difference, so while he fiddled with my first three cards, the mages and gladiator were methodically destroying them.

Finished the round and went back to finances, and it was a shame to get the first big payout from Listnerds at a " bottomed out" rate, but I didn't get upset and put half of it back into steaking to make up for it with daily payouts. Let's wait another 10 weeks and hopefully during that time token prices will stabilize and return to more or less fair values. Additionally I continue to put 5-10 tokens daily into PIZZA:ONEUP pool and I'm very satisfied with daily payouts :)

Happy to share my experience :)
