Hello guys,

Today I am going to share with you another battle in @splinterlands.

Battle details:
I played with earth splinter. And my opponent also used earth splinter against me.

It was a battle of total 40 mana with two rules:
Heavy Hitters: All monsters have the Knock Out ability.
Spreading Fury: All monsters have the Enrage ability.
Lineup.

I had my SCARRED LLAMA MAGE level 3, HYDRA level 3, MINOTAUR WARRIOR level 8, DWARVEN WIZARD level 5, HALFLING ALCHEMIST level 4, SPIRIT OF THE FOREST level 3 and KRON THE UNDYING level 3.
And my opponent had his/her cards as LYANNA NATURA level 1, STONESPLITTER ORC level 1, STONE GOLEM level 1, KRON THE UNDYING level 1, SAND WORM level 1, MUSHROOM SEER level 1 and KHMER PRINCESS level 1.

Let me talk about monsters that I used in this battle.
~SCARRED LLAMA MAGE. level 3

This legendary earth summoner adds +2 health to my monsters, cleanse debuffs from my monster in first position and most importantly grants Last stand ability to all my monsters.

Market.

This is my favorite earth summoner for battles with good mana cap. the Last Stand is really awesome and makes most monsters much better.

~HYDRA. level 3

Edition: BETA
Rarity: LEGENDARY
Element: NEUTRAL
Attack: MELEE
ABILITIES: Heal at level 1, Thorns at level 2, Retaliate at level 3, Trample at level 4.

This is a neutral monster, in this level it has melee attacks (3), Speed (4), Health (9).

It has three abilities at this level which are-
Heal: Restores a portion of the monster's health each round.
Thorns: When hit with a melee attack, does damage back to the attacker.
Retaliate: When hit with a melee attack, monsters with retaliate have a chance of attacking their attacker.
Another ability at level 4 is Trample: When a monster with Trample hits and kills its target, it will perform another attack on the enemy team.

It needs 7 mana.
Market.

It is hard to imagine a better tank in battles with good mana cap and Spreading Fury rule.

~MINOTAUR WARRIOR. level 8

Edition: ALPHA
Rarity: COMMON
Element: EARTH
Attack: MELEE
ABILITIES: REACH at level 1, PIERCING at level 6.

This is a earth monster, in this level it has melee attack(2), Speed (5), Health (5), Armor(1)

It has two abilities at this level which are-
REACH: Melee attack monsters with reach ability may attack from the second position of the team.
PIERCING: If melee or ranged attack damage is in excess of the target's armor, the remainder will damage target's health.

This card needs 4 mana.

I believed that my Hydra will be alive in first position for a long time so I wanted a monster with reach ability in my team.

~DWARVEN WIZARD. level 5

Rarity: EPIC
Element: NEUTRAL
Attack: MAGIC
ABILITIES: Snipe at level 1, Stun at level 4.

This is a neutral monster, in this level it has magic attack(1), Speed (2), Health (5), Armor(1)

It has two abilities at this level which are-
Snipe: Targets enemy monster with ranged, magic or no attack that are not in the first position.
Stun: When a monster with stun hits a targer, it has a chance to stun the target causing it to skip its next turn.

This card needs 3 mana.
Market.

I like having at least 1 monster with Stun ability in my teams.

~HALFLING ALCHEMIST. level 4

Rarity: EPIC
Element: NEUTRAL
Attack: RANGED
ABILITIES: Halving at level 1, Redemption level 4.

This is a neutral monster, in this level it has ranged attack(1), Speed (2), Health (2), Armor(1)

It has two abilities at this level which are-
Halving: Each time this monster hits a target, the target's attack is cut in half(rounded down)
Redemption: When this monster dies it does 1 damage to all enemy monsters.

This card needs 2 mana.
Market.

For me Halving is one of the best abilities in the game because it works against magic, melee and ranged monsters.

~ SPIRIT OF THE FOREST. level 3

Rarity: LEGENDARY
Element: EARTH
Attack: RANGED
ABILITIES: Flying and Snipe at level 1, Tank Heal at level 2 and Protect at level 3.

This is a earth monster, in this level it has ranged attack(2), Speed (6), Health (8).

It has four abilities at this level which are-
Flying: Has an increased chance of evading melee or ranged attacks from monsters who do not have flying ability.
Snipe: Targets enemy monsters with ranged, melee or no attack that are not in the first position.
Tank Heal: Restores a portion of the monster in first position health each round.
Protect: All friendly monsters gain +2 armor.
This card needs 7 mana.
Market.

I chose this monster because I wanted even more healing for my HYDRA. Also I wanted to give my HYDRA some armor.

~KRON THE UNDYING. level 3

Edition: UNTAMED
Rarity: LEGENDARY
Element: EARTH
Attack: MAGIC
ABILITIES: Heal at level 1, Divine Shield at level 2 and Last Stand at level 3.

This is a earth monster, in this level it has magic attack(3), Speed (2), Health (11).

It has three abilities at this level which are-
Heal: Restores a portion of the monster's health each round.
Divine Shield: The first time the monster takes damege it is ignored.
Last Stand: Gains increased stats if it is the only monster on the team alive.
This card needs 10 mana.
Market.

I like magic attacks. I like monsters with healing ability. I love them in combination with Last Stand ability. So how could I not like KRON THE UNDYING?

On the battlefield.

In the beginning of this battle most of my team were attacking my opponent's STONESPLITTER ORC. SPIRIT OF THE FOREST and DWARVEN WIZARD were targeting KRON THE UNDYING. Most of my oppont's team were attacking my HYDRA. SAND WORM was targeting my KRON THE UNDYING.

At this point I was sure that I will win this battle because my opponent's team was only level 1.

My team was healing from almost any damage and my opponent's monsters were falling like flies.

As expected I won this battle.

In this battle I won 7.633 Dec and 3 League Rating. My strategy worked fine- with all healing my team had my opponent was not able to slay any of my monsters. That being said my opponent was very low level so my strategy did not matter that much.

MINOTAUR WARRIOR is a decent monster and Reach ability is nice. But it is not a monster I use often.

I would like having SAND WORM in my team but in this case I don't think that I would replace any monster.
