Splinterlands New Feature ~Starter Cards~

have you noticed something new to Splinterlands Gameplay?
i bet most of you following Splinterlands on discord or in other communities have already been aware of this new feature provided

for me this was not the case though, i was getting on finishing my daily quest the other day when i saw that i had a variety on my deck that i was not familiar with
i said what the heck! i could able to pick cards that i knew i didn't have in my collection
what was the case?

first thing crossed my mind was that somebody delegated these cards to me
my dear friend @koskl ,always supporting me ,has already leased some good cards to me but as far as you cannot see the delegator you have no idea where the cards coming from
but wait a minute!
there is an ' S ' on the top of these cards....what is this ' S ' stands for??

after a bit of searching i realized that all these new cards ( which some of them are on my list to be purchased from the market ) were not leased to me
it is the new implementation of Splinterlands
this ' S ' stands for Starter card
Starter cards are cards which may be used in battles even if you don't own them
so if you go to your Splinterlands account and click on your cards by selecting 'playable' , all these ' S ' cards will show up before you
you don't own them , make no mistake, it is not possible to list them for sale, it is not possible to lease them to other players but you can use them in your battles
according to my opinion this is a very very nice feature for new players , and we need new players in our great community

of course you may wonder ,why should i bother purchasing them if i can have these cards for free?
well, this is up to you to decide
Splinterlands is not only playing! Splinterlands is also COLLECTING!
i'm just mentioning that some of these cards will get much of a value during time
let me remind you ALPHA EDITION cards which ,when the game started , were sold for 1 cent and now worth 70 or 80 cents each
if you are a collector , as i am , you will not feel peace inside your heart unless you know the cards are YOURS!
