Splinterlands - Markets for Buy and Sell Cards?

Within the Splinterlands game users have links to some of the third party platforms for purchase and sale of cards besides in the game itself. These third party each have their own benefits that is different than that of the game, but all three I would say are better than purchasing or selling card through Splinterlands game.

Monster Market

For over a year I have mostly used Monster Markets to purchase my Splinterlands cards. The filter on the website is one of the easiest to use. The filter breaks out summoner/monster, pack edition, rarity, attack ability, and splinter.

In addition to a great filter to search through cards the platform returns 60% of a 5% total fee in purchase of a card. Example a card is worth $1.00 and I purchase it. I will receive 60% of 5% total price, that would mean $1.00 x 5% = $0.05 and 60% of that or $0.03 in the form of DEC as the currency I receive. (Card Auctionz has an even better discount as it will include the 60% and on top provide a portion or CC tokens in relation to how much user spends on the platform. The CC tokens can be used to play the websites auction of cards. Winner of the auctions pay the specific amount of they won the bid on for the card.)

Peakmonsters

Peakmonsters not only has the rental system pat down for Splinterlands it also has a buy and sell of cards on its platform. Although it does not offer a cash back like Card Auctionz and Monster Markets it does provide an incentive. I have not purchased enough cards on Peakmonsters to see the full benefits. However for users who do purchase a lot on Peakmonsters in return the platform provides tokens to the spenders. The tokens are back by the revenue Peakmonsters recieves. In a way token holders have enough of an amount will make them earn a dividend from Peakmonster. The dividend comes from the site's profits for sale of cards. Also users can use the tokens to buy or rent assets on the Peakmonster's platform, so in a way these tokens can be consider cash back.

Open Sea, Wax....

As more platforms are allowing Splinterlands to sell their cards grows there are new ways to purchase Splinterlands cards.

Using the WAX token users can purchase Splinterland assets such as cards, land plots, and booster packs. The speed of the transactions matches that of using DEC in all the other third party websites talked about earlier. So for players who do not have DEC or Hive they can use WAX to purchase Splinterlands assets.

How I use the Markets to Buy?

I end this post to mention how I find deals in Splinterlands market. One of the best is through Monster Market's discord channel.

BDcommunity is a Bangladesh community for all who support and want to help Bangladesh. There is a Monster Market developer in the communty that has a dedicated Splinterlands channel that lists cheaper than highest current market price of cards when someone lists a card's price lower by a significant amount. This amount ranges from 15% or more. The room has a bot finding the price of cards and listing them as they see the deals. I often go there daily waiting for bargains.

Another way I purchase cards is back in the day when I first started I did also buy and sell on Splinterland's main discord channel. In the channel there is a group chat for people who want to buy and sell all things related to Splinterlands. There players can actually find a lot of bulk sales and usually when buying in bulk there is major discounts that one can not get if they saw the cards posts in the markets. Good luck in searching for card deals as now there are multiple platforms and options to purchase and sell cards. I am excited for the prospects of more sales of Splinterlands assets with all these different outlets that are available to all to buy and sell.
