$120,000+ USD In Splinterland Market Purchases (Shit Is Starting To Get Real)
Shit is starting to get real. The Splinterlands Market is BOOMING. The USD value of DEC has shot up. Most card prices are at all time highs and 24 hour sale records are being set. Its a great time to be a Splinterlands Player.
Within the past 24 hours $121,084 USD worth of Sales volume has taken place in the Splinterlands MarketPlace. Its important to note that these aren't boosters sales. These are individual cards that have sold that were owned by the Splinterlands players themselves / sold to other Splinterland players.

Wow! I could really use some of those cards you listed. But I think the smart move for now is to Hodl my DEC for the SPS airdrop. I may regret it later but I'll be concentrating on getting all the SPS I can. I think it's going to spike big time in the first few weeks.
I think the SPS token is going to surpass everones expectations in regards to USD price so I agree that holding DEC is the best move currently.
But the question that plagues me...What will happen to the price of DEC moving forward? If this is just a pump before the dump then cashing out of DEC and buying back in after the dump would be a good move. This morning's price has me wondering.
I gave that some thought as well but the price of SPS is so unpredictable I'm choosing to not sell my DEC. I feel as its almost gntd that DEC will eventually sink back near its "peg" of 1000 DEC/ $1.00 USD. The only thing that might stop DEC from dropping in USD price is if SPS outperforms everyones expectations.
Its great selling a $250 card, not so great if the DEC received ends up being worth $75. Its for this reason I pulled all my cards from market. I put one or two up daily and only to reposition myself with different cards / take a little DEC profits while increasing my card supply.
You're right. Better to err on the side of caution then make a mistake trying to time the market like I did two months ago. Back in November I had put some DEC/ETH in the Uniswap LP and kept watching my ETH decline. Nine days before they announced SPS I pulled it all out of the pool and converted 1.1 million DEC back to ETH. NINE DAYS! That turned out to be a HUGE mistake.
I'm also holding my DEC for SPS token.
I tried to farm DEC in this weekend to get as much DEC as possible before airdrop.
Hope SPS can make some move like AXS :)
I would love to hear how you make out on farming DEC. I've been wondering about doing that. Please post your results when you can.
