Splinterlands Rare Card Giveaway
Hello everyone,
Okay, time to giveaway a card so I will do that first. It was from this post
The winner is.
Congrats to @jemmarti I hope it helps you a little.
Okay now for the next card I am going to give away I will ask you a question. You have to answer the question or you won't be in the draw. I don't care what you say but it has to be an answer just to make sure I don't get bots in here. So here is the question.
Do you think the DEC on UNISWAP will help the price more and more?
Any other comments won't count and this will only be up on hive.
I know that for now, it did get it up a lot. It is nice to see that but I am not sure it will work well. I don't like to buy stuff on UNISWAP because it cost too much. I don't like to pay $5 fee to get maybe %50 of DEC.
Now for what most of you want to know. What card can you win this week?
If you want this Captian's Ghost just answer the question for a shot

thanks for the card! it will help me for sure.
i dont think that will affect DEC price at all. that pump was just hype pushing people to buy dec to join the pool. resulting in more people buying dec. the next pump for me will be when they introduce the presale of land.
Yes, especially leading up to the land sales starting.
Do you think the DEC on UNISWAP will help the price more and more?
I use UNISWAP myself and I think that is DEC is available on more places that will definitely help it's popularity and the end line, the price. II already bookmarked this option.
Thank you for the giveaway.
Short Answer, yes. However, here are a few of my thoughts regarding the Tokenomics of DEC.
The incentive of receiving "free" land for providing liquidity to the DEC/ETH pool on Uniswap does a few things. When the liquidity of a token pair increases, price slippage & impact is reduced while the liquidity provider fee remains unchanged.
What is making things worse is the increasing ETH gas fees that can turn a $10 USD purchase of DEC into a $15-20 USD purchase but you will still only receive $10 USD of DEC.
Axie Infinity, another Play-to-earn game, is having the same problem and is building a new blockchain named "Ronin" to address the issues high gas fees are causing for the game. It seems like a lot of work but putting this kind of effort towards Splinterland development is vital to the game being adopted by new players.
Maybe a Balancer pool for all the Play-to-earn tokens would make exchanging tokens between multiple different blockchains easier and reduce friction long term.
No, I don't think it will work well because costly transactions
