I was trying to do my life quest and just needed one more win. I am in Champion 1 and this team is one of my weaker teams so I was having a hard time. Then this battle came up and I was like well that doesn't look good. But it was a fun one to watch play out. I wonder if you can tell who won this one right now?

Here is how it looks after all the buffs are given out. Now my idea for my line up was pretty simple. With no Legendary cards, I went with a good tank. I put in the bard for the speed boost and cleanse. I know that speed can be an issue for the Paladin. I also didn't want his attack going down. As you can see this was a good move as they both slowed him, weakened him, and lowered his attack. With no healing, I wanted to go with the repair skill. After that, I just went for two solid ranged attackers and the one mage I could play. I wanted my attackers to all hit the front row hoping to take that guy out fast. When I saw the other team I wondered could I beat down the golem before those snipers ruined my team. I thought I had a shot but they sure hit hard. If you want to watch it and skip ahead go here

By round 2 things looked a little better. My Paladin didn't have those debuffs and he didn't kill any of my guys yet. Armor and protect wasted 2 of those attacks. I still wasn't sure what was going to happen I mean I had the damage to get his golem dead but my other attackers only had a few more attacks.

20200825 22_01_11Window.png

Round 3 is about to start and my Peacebringer is going to die before he can attack. But my Paladin is still perfect and his Golem is going to go down. I do see that if my ranged guys wherein the other order I would have one life one more round so I am bummed I maybe make a little mistake. I see that 11 health secondary tank and think I might not get to those ranged snipers in time.

20200825 22_03_43Window.png

Round 4 starts and I know that it is pretty much up to my Paladin. He is still got a lot of armor thanks to a few misses by the swamp thing. I also know that my armor guy won't get snipped so I think maybe I got a shot. I am not sure but maybe.

20200825 22_04_05Window.png

Round 5 is about to start and while my last archer didn't get to attack he took the two big hits and I got another miss so my armor is full. Can you do the math? Can you see who is going to win this fight?

20200825 22_04_24Window.png

Round 6 is about to start and look at that I got another miss from the swamp thing That extra speed is coming in really handy. I see it now I can win maybe. I just have to not die and maybe get another miss. I might even have it now but it is going to be close.

20200825 22_04_45Window.png

It is round 7 and now that I got the centaur up front he can only hit me once each round due to the armor. So it will take 4 rounds to kill me with no missies. If he does that he should win pretty fast maybe. I think I have it but surely I wasn't sure.

20200825 22_05_07Window.png

Well, look at that my Paladin is able to duck and weave and I take no damage that turn. It was pretty lucky for sure. I still need two rounds to kill off the centaur and then I know I have it.

20200825 22_05_21Window.png

By now I think the other guy can tell he lost. I am not sure that people watch the battles but if he did I am sure he is like how did I miss that many times. It is always fun to beat a team that looks like it should have beat you.

20200825 22_05_48Window.png

Well crap look at round 10 same as round 9 but I have less life. I missed and worry that could lead to a loss. I know for sure my guys are in danger now if I miss again.

20200825 22_06_04Window.png

Phew I didn't miss and now that we are in round 11 he only has one attacker and I can keep giving my guy armor before he attacks so it is over. I am glad I got the quest done and I can move on to other things.

20200825 22_06_29Window.png

That poor chicken he tried to be useful but just made it take one more round to end.

I hope that if you checked this out you enjoyed watching me win. I will do the pull for the next post in a week. It will be in the new post that I do I will use a random name picker. Take care all. Oh and start playing if you're not sign up here

It was a nice game. Those misses must have made your opponent angry haha. I wonder how the battle would have turned out if your opponent had a sneak monster.

Before the fight, Earth team is looking scary fast and with lot of damage, and that tank has a lot of health. But 2 snipers mean no pressure on Life tank having an Armorsmith. So it is an open race of how fast snipers can come to Earth tank and how long it will take to Life team to kill 1st and 2nd of Earth team. But that is logical thinking only.

In-game luck implementation is illogical. So you can not guess what it will look like.

After the game, you can tell that in-game luck kept Life tank with Armorsmith safe and also allowed him to hit with 100% accuracy targets that were much faster than him. That kind of outcome is reason behind Splinterlands players are still asking Splinterlands to pay to experts to implement in-game systems.

Point is the win, job well done!

Cheers!

Thanks a lot for the DECs man. I just complete to bougth my first Dice getting 2 gold and a rare life summmoner.

About your battle, is always hard to win (for me) with life splinter, but Armosmith with paladin always could be a lifesaver duo. I just Scared when Paladin missed his attack haha.

Nice win. I am triying to reach champion 1 but with so many high level cards will be hard.

Rng was in your favour! A light team consisting of Silvershield Paladin, armorsmith and tyrius are a must have and are OP!

Looking at the start I felt that it was pretty easy for the earth team. But I guess the speed of the paladin was underestimated along with the repair from Armor Smith.
It's a skill to use the Armor Smith and the bard in the right way. It needs to be used in the right ruleset, with the right combination and at the right location.
I've often wasted 2 mana using the Armor Smith in the no shield ruleset. Lol.

Congrats on the win :) I'm too new to really be able to tell who was going to win, but it is interesting to read about the higher level fights.
