Today's word prompt: lost at sea

When I saw today's prompts, I decided to choose the word prompt once again. It reminded me of that movie that my daughter and I watched a few years ago -- Life of Pi. It was pretty well-known then. My daughter even wrote a brief review of it... How to Train A Tiger in The Middle of the Pacific Ocean.

I don't recall all the details anymore, but I remember it being a good movie to watch. Pi, lost at sea, and stuck with Richard Parker, the tiger, was intriguing. How could he possibly survive it all? I suppose seeing the trailers got us interested enough to watch it. Cinematic effect was fantastic, esp. the night scenes. I remember that much.

I have never read the book on which the movie was based. I did appreciate the movie. Perhaps I would have loved the book too. The message dwelt more on something philosophical, a coming to terms of sort. The book would have made a good assignment for book reviews.
