Prompt A Day | Note to Self

Today's journal/blogging prompt: Write a letter to someone, anyone.

Dear Self,

I know it's another one of those commercial holidays that you're not too fond of. Don't worry, as the day will soon pass. Just keep busy doing your stuff. Pay no heed to the commercialism all around. Chill and relax, as you have something bigger to look forward to. You will be embarking on a trip that will take you many miles away from home. Focus on that. You had this set and arranged many months ago. Now, the big day is here! I know you are excited and apprehensive at the same time. Worry not and you'll do just fine. I know that you hope to keep posting on Steem while you're on vacation. Just do your best and share what you can. I won't take it against you, as I have no idea what to expect as well. One thing I know is that you will need to be prepared and pack everything you need, esp. your adventurous spirit. It's getting late, and you need some sleep. You have half day of work in the morning. Remember there were lots of paper work left behind from yesterday? Well, try to work on what you can. Then, leave your work concerns behind. You better finish this letter now. Then sleep a dreamless sleep. Nighty! See you in the morning.
