Hello Battle Mages. It's been a fierce 2 Weeks of battling and grinding daily & end of season rewards. There is exciting news with regards to new reward chest items for the new season in the just published blog by Splinterlands The New Chaos Legion Reward Cards - All 43 New Rewards Cards Stats!. The cards look good, and I like the idea of pulling multiple copies of same card from 1 Chest plus using up the potions I have been collecting all this while😂.

It's been another battle for Glory in the Splinterlands arena, where the big brawls and tournaments are staged. I hope the battlefield has been kind to you.

A raucous crowd of thousands had gathered once more in the vast arena to see what would certainly be a fight of the legends. Battle was about to begin and winners would all receive rare Splintershards and Golden crowns. I carried on and registered under Wild Gold Fray 11 , which allowed all monsters from different eras to compete and to honour the Dragonborne's prophecy of a united Gloridax made hundreds of years ago, all battles were kept fair, kill or be killed.

Dawn came, and it was time. As summoners mounted and set their tools on the summoners' stone, I and guildmates took our positions. Six [6] battles were arranged for me and I was not going to accept defeat.

In my first Brawl, I went with the 🍃Earth Splinter and got matched with AUDREI OF THE PICKS AND SHOVELS CLAN who picked the 🍃Earth Splinter too, coming at me with the dreaded summoner Enemy-Immortalis.
The ruleset gave all monsters the scattershot ability, Neutral monsters were not allowed in battle and all magic was made weak, hitting the shield before affecting health. So I chose MYLOR CROWLING who gave all my monsters the Thorn ability. This will ensure that each time my enemies hit at me, they also get same damage back. Then Next I went with three monsters that had the Poison, Inspire, Heal, Protect and Opportunity ability , this i believed will secure me a win. My strategy was simple; Big tank Melee monster who could regenerate his health [FLESH GOLEM], An extra Speedy & Inspire Monster [BROWNIE] , 1 poisonous and accurate range shooter [GOBLIN CHEF and MUSHROOM SEER], 1 Healer and protector and accurate range as-well [SPIRIT OF THE FOREST] and the Opportunity Monster [SCREECHING VULTURE]. I didn't employ Gladiators in this battle because I had none that fitted into the low mana cap. The Enemy came at me with the with brute force, battle only lasted 2 rounds as my team cut them down mercilessly and effortlessly. Brawl ended in

Next battle was called upon almost immediately, I then summoned the great ALRIC STROMBRINGER. I went with the 🌊Water Splinter and got matched with MOSDIRTY OF THE COLLECTIVE VISION CLAN who picked the 🔥Fire Splinter. The ruleset was Aim true, had all odd ones out and all monsters granted the Enrage ability. I went with magic, summoning the best on my team. ISGALD VORST a gladiator with the Bloodlust and Opportunity, RUNEMANCER KEY has a decent health with the Leech and Fury abilities.

If anything, I banked on my first two monsters tanks, and to make sure all went well, I then picked MERDAALI GUARDIAN and VENARI WAVESMITH who had the Protect and Healing abilities to help as well. I also employed the CAPTAINS GHOST for his Affliction.
It was a challenging battle as enemy came with YODIN ZAKU, the fire god who boosted it's monsters with extra Range, Health and Blast. My Fury Monster focused on the taunt monster until eliminated, but even at all that, I got destroyed damn!😅

My next battle was against a fierce dragon Summoner ENEMY-CAMILA SUNGAZER. I felt brave and believed in my team, so i went with the 🍃Earth Splinter and got matched with BAKIBABA OF THE SPLINTERLANDS.HU CLAN who picked the 🐉Dragon Splinter.
The ruleset Equalized all monsters health, gave all monsters the scattershot ability and stampede. My Enemy had a really wicked cards, the dreaded Desert dragon, Harklaw, Djinn muirat, Witch of warwick and Lira the dark.

while I came again with FLESH GOLEM and PELACOR MERCENARY who both can regenerate their health, one Tank healer [SPIRIT OF THE FOREST] , a warrior who is skilled in both Magic and Range attack, the delectable [QUORA TOWERSHEAD], 2 poisonous and accurate range shooter [GOBLIN CHEF and MUSHROOM SEER], and the Opportunity Monster [SCREECHING VULTURE]. Brutal 7 rounds of battle, My gut feel went for Earth as I understood those cards better, glad it paid off. I took out my enemies effortlessly, one after the other, o the sweet feeling of victory.

Next battle was called upon almost immediately, I wasn't so prepared but i took the stand and summoned the great DALLAN. I went with the ☠️Death Splinter and got matched with GINUS OF THE
EUROPEAN ELITE CLAN who picked the 🍃Earth Splinter.
The ruleset offered all monsters the close range and holy protection ability. I went with crippling, summoning the best on my team. RUNEMACER CRAFTER has a decent health with the Fury and Snare abilities.

If anything, I banked on his tank and defense, and to make sure all went well. I also employed the MAGI NECROSI for his Snipe, Oppress and Camouflage, DOCTOR BLIGHT the deadly Poisonous and Affliction Lord and PHANTOM SOLDIER, there was no Gladiator on my team.
It was another challenging battle as enemy came with the great Enemy-Obsidian the magic summoner who boosted her monsters with extra magic. I absolutely got destroyed by enemy who used the Stun against me.

My fourth battle was against a wicked Summoner ENEMY-ISTHIPA. Again I felt brave and believed in my team, so i went with the 🌬Life Splinter and got matched with ROTTHA OF THE GLADIATORS III CLAN who picked the 🐉Dragon Splinter.
The ruleset offered all monsters the Thorn and sneak ability and Melee monsters could attack from any position. My Enemy had really wicked cards, the dreadful ENEMY-CARNAGE TITAN and a ENEMY-RUNI.

while I came again with URIEL THE PURIFIER who could regenerate his health, 1 Tank healer [DIVINE HEALER] , STITCH LEECH with the Sneak and Life Leech and DOCTOR BLIGHT the deadly Poisonous and Affliction Lord*. Brutal rounds of battle, My gut feel went for Life as I understood those cards better too, glad it paid off.

My final battle was against another wicked Summoner who is against magic ENEMY-THADIUS BROOD. I felt brave and believed in my team, so i went with the ☠️Death Splinter and got matched with ATLASS OF THE MONSTER NEST CLAN who also picked the ☠️Death Splinter. The ruleset offered all monsters the Knockout ability, Took our healing abilities and only Magic monsters could be used in battle. My Enemy came at me with really wicked card once again.

while I came with MAGI NECROSI for his Snipe, Oppress and Camouflage, DOCTOR BLIGHT the deadly Poisonous and Affliction Lord and PHANTOM SOLDIER, there was no Gladiator on my team.

I did enjoy lining up my team for all the battles, even though it wasn't anywhere close to a clean sweep but you learn through your defeat and eventually gain the courage to totally destroy your enemies, granting you victory. For this brawl, I got rewarded with 19.830 Splintershards and 2,000 Merits to purchase Gladius pack, a realm where Battles mages can own soulbound Gladiators.

My Fellow Guildmates also put in great effort in their battles, having a guildmate @Cooperclub with a clean sweep, implying he destroyed all his enemies. The 🍕Pizza 1 stuffed crust made another bold display, finishing second and earned 40 Golden crowns. I enjoy participating in brawls and seeing how well my guild is doing in terms of conquering. We are very competitive in these brawls and work together to give it our all. Makes it all worth it in the end❤️

BUYING AND STAKING SPS CHALLENGE

This isn't huge news for high tier/whale players, but I challenged myself to grow on Splinterlands and now hit over 1,300 staked SPS mile🎉. I grinded and earned a total of 136.674 SPS bringing me to a total of 1391 Staked SPS. I can do better this new season and would be comparing each season.

Aside from the SPS I earn via Ranked battles, Brawls, the Daily Quest, and the Season Chest, I have adopted Mr. Alok's advice at an Ecency program held by Mr. Pravesh to purchase and stake 100 SPS every week.

I am comfortable doing this after each payout. I also get to earn awesome tokens like #spt sometimes on post which I can trade for SPS and immediately stake. Hopefully I am making the right decisions here, so fingers crossed🤞.

I was able to grind 50 Gold chest last season. I got to Pull a Chaos legion pack, adding to the numbers, so happy. A gold-foil ever hungry skull isn't bad atall, 16 more SPS, merits and regular cards for leveling up.

This just concluded season marks the end of chaos legion reward cards, makes me sad. But I am still excited to pull those soul bound cards, Looking forward.

I pulled 19 Gladiators, some with multiple copies to Level up. I was pleased because I pulled an EPIC GORTH of the fire splinter, and now I get another QUORA TOWERSHED and other amazing Bloodlust Gladiators in multiple copies for leveling up.
