Buongiorno a tutti e ben ritrovati per un post un po' diverso dal solito.

Approfittando di una sveglia mattutina un po' più solerte del solito, che mi ha quindi regalato un po' di tempo in più, ho deciso di tentare di partecipare al progetto @ben.art , "vogliamo la vostra arte", organizzato da @bencwarmer in collaborazione con PGM, per la creazione di opere digitali a tema Gaming.

Partendo dal presupposto che certamente non sono un grafico, e che di conseguenza non vi potrete certo aspettare una vera e propria opera d'arte, mi sono divertito, comunque, a prendere un piccolo programma di grafica che ho sul computer, e saltuariamente utilizzo, per cercare di elaborare una mia idea e questo è il risultato.

Partendo dalla foto di un giovane Gamer, impegnato a portare avanti le sue partite al suo gioco preferito, ho ritoccato la stessa, con vari filtri, fino a raggiungere questo risultato, che sinceramente mi piaceva per i suoi effetti, che rendevano bene la mia idea di partenza.

Nella mia "opera", e lo dico, ovviamente, molto ironicamente, volevo rappresentare il senso di estraniazione, dal resto del mondo esterno, che a volte si raggiunge giocando ai propri videogames preferiti, che però può avere, allo stesso tempo, una valenza positiva, quanto una valenza negativa.

Da buon, vecchio, video giocatore di parecchi videogames, primo fra tutti il buon vecchio GTA, che mi ha fatto fare più di una notte insonne nel tentativo di portare a termine delle missioni, o anche semplicemente per puro passatempo, divertendomi a combinarne di ogni colore, ricordo perfettamente l'isolamento dalla realtà che riuscivo a raggiungere immergendomi completamente in quel gioco.

Il problema era, e da qui la valenza negativa, che, per l'appunto, non mi rendevo neanche più conto della realtà e, spesso e volentieri, perdevo ore e ore della mia vita completamente immerso in un'altra realtà, finendo per perdere, a volte, notti di sonno, con le conseguenze che ben potete immaginare, mettendo prima di ogni cosa l'avanzamento in questa nuova realtà che era diventata un po' troppo centrale nella mia vita.

Dall'altro lato, però, e da qui la valenza positiva, era decisamente molto bello potersi divertire in questo videogioco, che ti dava la possibilità di vivere una realtà alternativa, dove potevi dare sfogo alla tua fantasia, e svagarti, divertendoti per delle ore, potendo fare praticamente quasi ogni cosa.

Senza mettersi, ora, a fare dei pipponi filosofici sulla cosa, volevo semplicemente rappresentare, in qualche modo, quella sensazione di distacco dalla realtà, e del poter viverne una nuova e tutta digitale, che a volte si prova quando si è immersi in un gioco che ci piace.

Tutt'altro discorso, infatti, sarebbe da intraprendere per poter discutere dei due rovesci della medaglia, e del lato oscuro del gaming, nel quale bisognerebbe stare attenti a non cadere per non diventarne troppo dipendenti, sino a dei veri e propri casi di Gaming Disorder, ma ritengo che non sia questa la sede nel quale parlarne.

Concludo qui, quindi, questo mio post, che vuole essere, semplicemente, il mio modo per partecipare alla piacevole iniziativa @ben.art organizzata da @bencwarmer, in collaborazione con PGM, sperando che la mia immagine possa essere gradita.

Taking advantage of a slightly more diligent morning alarm than usual, which therefore gave me some more time, I decided to try to participate in the @ben.art project, "we want your art", organized by @bencwarmer in collaboration with PGM, for the creation of Gaming-themed digital works.

Assuming that I am certainly not a graphic designer, and that consequently you certainly cannot expect a real work of art, I enjoyed, however, taking a small graphics program that I have on my computer, and occasionally use, to try to work out my idea and this is the result.

Starting from the photo of a young Gamer, committed to carrying on his games to his favorite game, I retouched the same, with various filters, until I reached this result, which I honestly liked for its effects, which made my idea well. of departure.

In my "work", and I say it, obviously, very ironically, I wanted to represent the sense of estrangement from the rest of the outside world, which is sometimes reached by playing one's favorite videogames, which however can have, at the same time, a value positive, as well as a negative value.

As a good, old, video player of several videogames, first of all the good old GTA, which made me do more than one sleepless night in an attempt to complete missions, or even simply for pure pastime, having fun combining every color, I perfectly remember the isolation from reality that I was able to achieve by immersing myself completely in that game.

The problem was, and hence the negative value, that, precisely, I no longer even became aware of reality and, more often than not, I wasted hours and hours of my life completely immersed in another reality, ending up losing , at times, nights of sleep, with the consequences that you can well imagine, putting first of all the advancement in this new reality that had become a little too central in my life.

On the other hand, however, and hence the positive value, it was definitely very nice to have fun in this video game, which gave you the opportunity to experience an alternative reality, where you could give vent to your imagination, and have fun, having fun for hours. , being able to do almost anything.

Without starting to philosophize about it now, I simply wanted to represent, in some way, that feeling of detachment from reality, and of being able to experience a new and entirely digital one, which sometimes you feel when you are immersed in a game. that we like.

A completely different matter, in fact, would be to be undertaken in order to discuss the two downsides of the coin, and the dark side of gaming, in which one should be careful not to fall in order not to become too dependent on it, up to real cases of Gaming Disorder. , but I believe that this is not the place to talk about it.

I conclude here, therefore, my post, which simply wants to be my way to participate in the pleasant initiative @ben.art organized by @bencwarmer, in collaboration with PGM, hoping that my image will be appreciated.
