A stroll along the medieval town
Stein am Rhein is a charming little town west of Lake Constance, one of the most beautiful and best preserved medieval old towns in Switzerland, and the majestic Rhine river.
The well-preserved medieval facade paintings can be found around the town hall square.
The Klosterspital was probably built in the 13th century.
Here in this exhibition is showing how it looked inside at that time.
St. Agatha chapel was built in 1521 by order of the city above the old charnel house.
If you are travelling in southern Germany or in the northeast of Switzerland, don't miss a visit Stein am Rhein.
Have a great Day!

Beautiful place to explore. The buildings are incredibly well maintained. I love all the artistic detail on the exterior walls!
