Let's talk about Covaxin and Covishield | Which one is best ?

Hey there i hope you are doing well guys. I am lucky ali here. So today i want to talk about two vaccines and lots of people are confused between them and now russian vaccine sputnik v has arrived and many people also waiting for US vaccine pfizer too.

So Should you have to wait for other vaccines to arrive or you have to take covaxin or covishield. So which vaccine has minimum side effects? So many people have querstions and doubts regarding this matter.

So let's talk about side effects. The common side effect is Swelling and pain and i think that is normal and even in normal injection you will get this side effect. Now let's talk about systemic side effects. These may include headaches, fever and some people face fatigue. And this will happen for 1 or 2 days and it's normal thing.

Now let's talk about pfizer and mRNA vaccine has fewer side effects after the first dose but when you will take second dose then you will experience more side effects. Astrezeneca vaccine has side effect in first dose and fewer side effect after second dose.

So these are common side effects. One thing i want to say that not every person face side effect but 10 to 35% people will face these side effects. Any one of the 3 people has a side effect in the case of astrezeneca vaccine.

Most of the vaccines are safe in most cases. There are three types of vaccines inactivated vaccine, viral vector vaccine and mRNA vaccine.

Covaxin comes in inactivated category, covishield and sputnik v comes in viral vector vaccine category and pfizer and moderna vaccines comes in mRNA vaccine type.

So now let's talk about indian people. According to some experts pfizer and moderna vaccine will not come in india and if they will come in the form of donation. Now main topic is indians have two choices so what should they take? Covaxin develop immunity within 6 weeks and it is giving 81% protection.

Other side, covishield protect 70% and this vaccine has large interval. But youget protection after first dose which is good thing.

Simple answer is we should get whichever we are getting.
