MADE SOME UPDATES

(Edited)

So recently I have been making an effort to improve my home working situation (it is costing me an arm and leg by the way). This is in my bid to improve performance and comfort.

I recently purchased a laptop--a dell latitude 7470. I initially went for the slicker version (7370) but I encountered some problems. Plus, it was slower so I opted for the 7470.

So I am passing down my older laptop to my brother. I plan to enroll him in a computer school (that's what we call it here) so he can become more tech-savvy--his future depends on it.

I also got a better chair for comfort. Ditched my old deformed white plastic chair (I don't know how I managed using that for so long). This new chair feels more comfortable. I can turn and spin while editing my posts.

For next month I will get a better desk. Now I am using a plastic table which is not ideal for me because most of my stuff like my tripod, headset, etc occupy my working space.

A desk with some drawers would do that trick. It's going to cost me $50 to get one (so if you're feeling quite generous today, you know what to do).

The next big purchase would be a cooling system for my living area. It is pretty hot this period and a cooling system would be ideal for me and my household.

I might also invest in some proper lighting and wallpaper so I can go back to vlogging again. That has taken a back seat for some time. I want to create quality vlogs that can attract a sizable audience.

Creating content is about creating value and although we currently enjoy a system that enables most of us here, I am not sure that would last forever. At some point, numbers and engagement will begin to matter.

So I must make upgrades like this continuously and also improve the quality of my quality. This is the only way I can stay relevant for a long time.

It would have been impossible to do most of the things I have done without hive. Most of the money I make here goes into improving my capacity. I believe not all investments are monetary. Investing in one's self is the best way to improve, which in turn creates value for one's community.

It is doable mate. Making little steps count. Although there is the financial side of things that could slow one down. However, I believe wanted something enough can help you identify opportunities that would bring that thing to fruition.

The comfort of a good chair really matters, it's good that you invested in yourself
