PRE-HIVE POWER UP BLOG FOR THE MONTH OF JULY
Tomorrow is going to a new month i.e Hive Power Up day, and I write this post to say I would be participating in the powering up of some amount of Hive.
Infact, I would be powering about 140+ hive tomorrow. I got this amount of hive from conversion of 32 HBD some days ago. This amount is the accumulation of the HBD I earned from the posts I made last week and before.
With this power up, I would make a hive power of over 9800 plus, quite close to 10k HP which I know I would certainly attain by july ending. Presently, I would be powering up some of my HBD rewards and if after the hard fork, and HBD get pegged to exactly $1, I would be setting some of my post rewards to 100% Hive power instead of the later conversion.
If you are new to Hive with an HP of 39 or lesser than a HP of 8000 and rep of 70, you should check @traciyork's post here to know more about Hive Power Up day and how to win Prizes for participating.
The first time I read about your plan to hit 10000HP it got me thinking of how you would be able to achieve it but here you are, just some steps away from reaching that figure and surpassing that despite not being completely active like you used to be.
Go on Bro and power up...
More augumention to this account 😋
Truth is, I have made 10k HP about 2-3 months ago. I had to power down 2k Hive (then I had 8k Hive power) when I needed some money real life. Since then, I have been building it back up and hopefully, I make close to 15k or more by the end of the year.
Nice one... We also earn in order to be able to offset some bills whenever they come up so you made the right choice and I'm glad that you are even setting a higher goal for yourself.
You Know, this aspect of setting goals is one of the things I learnt from being part of the Newbie Initiative and I will always remain grateful for that. But then, I'm not yet as fat as you so I will be setting my goals bit by bit 😂😂
No matter the amount you power up, bit by bit would end up becoming massive. I started bit by bit also before I got to where I am now. Hope to see your goal setting for this month.
Thanks for that tip bro... It's something that I want to achieve
I will go one step at a time
You have recorded a great deal of success here on hive and perhaps more to come your way. For me, I haven't been able to find my legs on solid grounds yet. But with time, I am sure to register what it is I want here.
Taking one step at a time is very important don't don't fall prey in the hand of wolves in the skin of sheep.
That a whooping strength you have gathered there. Almost 10000HP looks like a journey of 10 years for some of us. Because the engagement on our posts after the #smi-le newbie initiative became so low and discouraging but consistency is the antidote to failure.
Ride on bro, more feats.
Yeah, I understand how things are but you have said it all, consistency is the antidote to failure. I gathered all I have here with a year duration of consistency. I never thought it would be possible but it all happened unexpectedly.
You've done really well for yourself with almost 10k HP. That's awesome. Thanks for reminder on the HPUD. Getting set for my 2nd participation
For a newbie like me, it is just a dream to attain this much hp. It takes a lot of efforts and dedication. You are here standing near yohr goal. Congratulations
Smile... I can totally understand how impossible it may look to attain. It felt the same just last year but if you keep yourself determined, you would get very close to attaining this amount of HP. Remember, little drops of water makes an ocean.
Always great to see you copy my pre power up blog from the redfishrally
And you goal so met eventhough you had to power down 2k
One thing though :
This months it’s different everybody can power up
Hahah well everybody should and Evy can win an extra prize
Smile... yeah, I love the pre power up initiative. It reminds my followers about the power up day. At this moment, I am writing my power up post.
I know that’s why we thought and did this when you were in the redfishrally in the terminal, it is for the people to know this but did you see the pud is different this time ?
Different, in what way?
Didn’t you read my first comment?

This months it’s different everybody can power up and well everybody should and can win an extra prize.
I think you didn’t read Tracy’s blog than ,
oh.... smile, I read her blog or let me say, skimmed through it. I read your first comment, I thought there would be something else again asides that everybody can win an extra prize. thanks for notifying. 🙂
I knew you didn’t read when I saw your blog. Yes skimming is not always the greatest way but nesseccary for time and with your malaria it was and even more understandable but this month it’s a year after I did the spud back in the days and Tracy took over and she has extra prizes so that’s what I was pointing out when I saw you only told your readers that it is smaller than 8k and rep so and so.
Well I wish you a speeedy recovery and I hope that the malaria is gone
Yeah, I am feeling a lot better now compared to last week. I would edit the post now to correct the error. Thanks for notifying and the care as well.
Congratulations @starstrings01! You received a personal badge!
Wait until the end of Power Up Day to find out the size of your Power-Bee.
May the Hive Power be with you!
You can view your badges on your board and compare yourself to others in the Ranking
Check out the last post from @hivebuzz:
You have been successful on Hive since you returned and dedicated yourself to helping others. This, in turned helped your account as well. Good luck in the special event power up for July.
