Sour Cherries Are Ripening

It's mid-June and the sour cherries tree under our kitchen window is showing some color besides the green.

Yes, it's red!

Sour cherries are ripening.

The tree is full of these little and not-so-sour fruits.

I am a bit afraid of what the tiny dots on the fruits mean. It was a challenging sprint for all the fruit trees with a lot of rain and freezing temperatures.

Anyway, I hope that cherries will be as delicious are they were last year.

In the meantime, their neighbors, two fig trees, are getting green. The leaves are growing bigger. Soon, the fruits will start to grow too.

I am looking forward to both cherries and figs.
