I have always had an apathy for anything has has to do with making money online, not because I don't like making money but because of the fact that, there are a lot of scams out there where you invest and later notice that your investments are all gone.

So any time someone introduces me to a platform online, I pay little attention. I have once been cut in it when I invested money and my time to later find out that all was just a waste.

So when I first heard about Hive and the tribes under it during the pandemic last year, I paid little attention but has time goes on I started to understand the concept behind it as my friend @marvinix keeps informing me about hive and how I will benefit from it.

Before I knew about hive, I make artworks and earn from it, but the issue is that artists and their artworks are underrated here in my country, we can relate that back to the economy anyways. So I barely get paid well for my artworks and most times, before I finish making the artworks, I would have spent most of the money, leaving me with no savings. So I planned on buying a save box so I can make some savings for future purposes. Saving in the bank was out of it, because they take to much charges from saved money.

Marvinix told me I could post about my artworks, discus about them and get rewarded highly even without selling them out. In such ways I can eat my cake and still have it. He also told me how relevant it is to keep staking and how it works.

So I joined and started engaging on hive, I started with Leo and sports, I later started the I am alive challenge before I came here, this will be my second post here on Proveofbrain.

Why am I still here.

So far so good I have been engaging for 4 months on hive, the more I get to know about hive and it's tribes with the opportunity that comes with it, the more I fall in love with it. I initially joined to post about my artworks but when I joined and saw the day to day challenges here, the meaningful contents created by knowledgeable people, the reward for content creation and engagement. I Began to venture more of my time here.

What have I gained so far.

1. The knowledge about cryptocurrency and important financial information that has changed my perspective about finance.

2. The attribute of reading, I don't find interest reading articles or contents before I joined hive, but now my attention gets drawn towards content, this as also helped me in my academics.

3. While concentrating on artworks as the only means of earning, I can only hope to get works for daily bread. Which I don't often get commissions to make artworks but now, I feel like I am in control. I earn every single day as long as I am active, I also have a different view of finance and can now plan ahead of 2, 3, 4 years...

4. Hive has thought me how to value my time, before now when I get a commissioned work for a low price that has low benefits. After contemplating I tend to just bend to do it because I have no choice. It later started looking like I do not know the value of the works, time and services I am giving out. And in life, one has to value himself before others can value him. Now that I am on hive, knowing that if I spend the number of time I spend on an artwork, I will keep learning and at the same time earning continually, this has help me to value my time and added to my. So if you're not ready to pay for my time and efforts, I won't bother wasting my time.
