Content is King. For me a good post addresses an item that is on my mind, a problem I have been experiencing or is interesting and entertaining. I have seen some post that get lots of upvotes that are just a lot of show with flashy screenshots but does not provide me any value. Yes, sometimes I will be drawn in by the show but I do not always vote for them because I did not get any value. I always lean toward function over form but that is a personal preference.

The question and the topic are subjective and personal... There are no good or bad answers, but different points of view about it... And, there is a lot of "screenshot posts" without that personal touch inside... That will explain those screenshots and make them more personal...
You aren't alone with your point of view... A lot of us like to SEE the person behind the post while we are reading/watching it...
