Leading people by positive influence secures Loyalty.

A leader is not someone that intimidate people to get them towards achieving a goal. Think about it!!! Will you intimidate or force a young child to walk because you want to see the child walk quickly? NO! You will rather patiently teach, inspire and encourage the child. Right?

If you use intimidation on people yet getting result, it might be because the people have no other place to go yet.

While growing up, there are many times i used intimidation as a senior against my junior ones in a boarding house school to get them follow my lead and desires. Yes!! I noticed I was getting them to do what i want, but something was missing! ! Find out what was missing. Lols!!

Leadership is the ability to effectively organized a group of people to achieve a common tasks and goal.

Leadership is first of the heart then to the head, in the heart is the relationship, in the head is the goal.

This means that I was supposed to focus on building an healthy relationship with those junior's first then they will naturally follow the goals and desires in my head as I share it with them.. This always work, Althought! I don't wait till people attached to me are 100% submitted to me before sharing and running the goal.

Now I know a leader is someone who influences a group of people toward the achievement of a goal. The key word is influence.

With the little time i have spent on hive platform i have met people who inspire and challenge me @steevc @starstrings01 @daniky and more..

If i positively influence people and they choose to follow me, i will earn their LOYALTY. If i intimidate people and they still stayed with me then their LOYALTY WILL BE MISSING. It's a matter of time.

Leadership and Influence

For you to be able to positively influence others:

• Pay attention to your personal success in life.
• Develop geniue love and attention for people because you know that mostly when people know you genuinely care for them, your desires and goals becomes their aspiration.
• Willingness to be an example, to see them grow, because attracting loyal people is not a function of what you want but who you are.
• Learn to show honest appreciation when they do things well for you. Don't wait till they do things wrong before you talk.
• Remain passionate and motivated about your interest, goals and vision, Don't just lead for title, fame or comfort sake. Passion is seen through our SACRIFICES. Sacrifice is not once but continuous. for example: Showing empathy when required. Learning to overlook minor errors. Correcting in love. Not overly critical. Although! there are some red line error that must be trashed immediately.

There are different levels of leadership.

The least is leadership by POSITION and this is just a platform to lead by positively influencing people attached to you.

I'm currently working on myself to influence people more positively, not just once but as a lifestyle.
