RE: What is quality content?

On the Hive blockchain, what "quality content" is in part depends on where you post your content. I just scrolled through some new posts on CTP Talk and found one that was simply a photo (actually, quite an attractive photo) of some flowers supported by a single line of text. The publisher is clearly hoping to pick up some quick and easy CTP tokens without worrying about the relevance of the post to the purpose of the CTP community.

However, the same post could be considered "quality content" if it had been posted to relevant hive communities (assuming the photo was actually taken by the person who posted it). So context and relevance are clearly important factors in deciding what quality content is.

In the context of the CTPTalk community, I look for posts that are well written and focus mainly on how the publisher is building their business and what they have learned along the way. I also enjoy a good story so I am happy to read or watch stuff by people who are reporting on other aspects of their life as well. A good example of this would be the content put out by @pixiepost who shares amusing stories and posts proverb-memes, musings about the tarot, astrology and so forth, all of which are part of her "personal brand".

So I would say that for me, "quality content" is unique, informative, entertaining, and relevant in some broad way to the community in which it is posted.
