Let us have a #POB Android app
My last post was about the enhancements in the POB frontend. @vempromundo like it very much and he immediately published the list of Richest POB holders as a response to my post. This community is really super responsive. I mentioned that there is a need to have the features like post scheduling, having the enhanced options for composing the posts and possibilities of integrating the same into twitter.
As an early adopter of this front-end i visualise this community to be a very successful community due to its theme of bitcoin of hive blockchain. I really love this concept. In the near forseeable future, we can actually get out of the hive-exchange and list our currency against bitcoin on many other exchanges. To do this i think we need to be different from others and one such thing that would make us different is the need of a mobile app. Many of us use #proofofbrain front end from mobile and there are different challenges of using it through mobile.
If we can have our own mobile app, we could be one of the first tribes to have the application on app store. We would also be the first one to offer user friendly experience for our community.
This would make us stand out in the tribes.
This looks like long term plan to me, to create an android app we will need someone dedicated who would be keen to create an app against the consideration of #pob. There would be a feasibility study to be done to understand, how will the app add value to the #pob ecosystem? how many users would use the same? how will the rewards get generated and what is the exact feature that would differential desktop from app and will compel the audience to chose app over desktop
Do you think having a mobile app will increase adoption?
It's an interesting idea and might be worth looking into.

I'm sure people would love an app. But you have to consider the costs of creating such a thing.
The market cap of PoB is currently $89,262. Even if we invested all of that into IT-Services, we probably wouldn't get a secure and userfriendly app.
It's definitely on my wishlist, but I'm far from demanding that. I don't even know, if I would use it. I'm feeling much more safe about my account, as long as I'm using it on my computer and I will be even more worried, once it is actually worth more than a cheap night out.
It looks like quite ambitious project, but the numbers you mentioned here give a far more clear picture and i think it would be definately on the wishlist of many of us but its too early to take the route of mobile app.
If such an app dev decided to charge users 10% beneficiary for posting on this app would anyone use it?
Right now the clear answer is no. I dont think anyone would give that 10% of #pob away for the convenience of using mobile app
??? everyone already does if they post from the front-end.
its will interesting to have POB app on my phone and i think the project will developing user experience. Love to see when it comes will attract many user to use POB App
