Dear all hive members, this time I would like to share my experience in blogging. There are some reviews of blogging platforms in this post.

Blogging for me

I have started blogging since 2018. At that time I used free platform blogspot.com. At the time, it was the end of glory of adsense bloggers. Adsense bloggers started to decline their income. However, some of them still made good money.

I registered adsense via revenue sharing platform , I have forgotten. I was accepted as a publisher. Then I bought a domain. Now the domain died. I posted my articles in many platforms like wordpress, blogspot, lifejournal, and other free platform to build links.

I was also active in forum blogging. The result was one year for $100 adsense earning. That was very bad. I lost the motivation to blog. I tried to earn small bitcoin from faucet. Sometimes I wanted to laugh of doing faucet that time. In fact, my earning from faucet today can be worth $600 . It was about 0.01 btc. I also played some HYIP.

When I blogged for adsense, I sometime used illegal technique in SEO. I rewrote some posts and published in some platforms to earn backlinks. At first, the technique worked but then google changed the machine so the algorithm could detect spun contents.

I thought, I gave up to do adsense blogging. Then I registered bitcointalk. I started to participate in discussion. Then I joined bounty works. From that, I knew steem. I joined steem but did not make good money.

Now, my hero account in bitcointalk was suspended because I made multiple accounts to cheat bounty works. I still have an account but I rarely post in btt forum.

Steem and Hive blogging

I was back to steem in 2020. I tried hard to earn rewards. I then preferred to earn steem tokens like foodie, lotus, and leo. Hive hardfork gave more chances. Earn hive side tokens were my biggest earning.

Journey to other platforms

I have enough experience in hive and its token but my earning is still low. However, I feel comfortable with hive.

• Publish0x
  I started to blog trip. I registered publish0x. I make small money there. I do not post very often in there. Small tipping will make only few cents in a post. However, I like publish0x.
• Pocketnet.app
  I did not understand how it wored but I tried. I made some posts and did not make good earning. I then made short post to bully the platform. Wow, I then got -17 reputation. To earn reputation was hard and I got -17. -50 reputation the account will be disabled by the system in pocketnet.app. I decided to stop using the platform.
• Den.Social
  Den.social is a new platform. It runs on dragonchain with ethereum reward token MTR. I criticized the platform, then I got negative energy. Yeah, I became inactive in the platform.
• Hive Tribe Chains
  I feel comfortable with hive side chains like leo, ctp, neoxian and proofofbrain. I do not make earning from hive but from Leo gives me cool rewards.

Lessons to learn

From journey of my blogging platform, the most comfortable one is Hive with its side chains. Other platform that I enjoy is publish0x. Den and pocketnet are not friendly to me. I knew I made mistakes in my posts but the negative votes for me is hurting. In hive, I had experience got downvote but downvotes in hive did not affect my account. The affect was only in the post. The system is much more friendly than others.

From my mistakes, I should learn that I should respect communities. Critics are good but when the time is not proper , will affect our reputation. In my opinion, there should be standard to downvote posts by the system or by decentralized governance. Downvote is not personal motive but it is because a post has violated the system. I hope the growth of hive will not make the ecosystem in chaos. It is like an orchestra that all musical instruments will be the unique sounds for the great and amazing symphony.
