Generating Tarkovium

In our mission post this week, we asked people to help us find a name for the building material on Liotes. The energy that is generated by the Liotes Mills is used to transform the sand on the surface of the planet into a kind of opaque glass that is then used by the 3D printers to lay the foundations and build the settlement on Liotes.

We have received amazing suggestions and we liked many of them. It took us some time to choose one among them but it's possible that we will use some suggestions for other names... A big thanks for all the propositions!

We finally choose the name Tarkovium suggested by @nobutsd1974 mainly because of the history behind this name. Since Commander Tarkov is in charge of terraforming the planet, he is the inspiration for naming the building material. In addition to that, we believe it sounds nice :-)

Updated Liotes ranking

We have updated today the Liotes Ranking. The people at the top of the ranking are more or less the same ones but we see more and more people getting closer to the 100 points that would give them the Rank of Wind Maker. So far we have only two Wind Makers: @solymi and @pixiepost.

I like the name you have chosen. Fits well in the story. I wish I came up with it. I read the various proposals for the name when you launched the mission, and didn't come up with anything better, so I skipped that one.

I guess it's possible, but I would not put that in the category of hightly probable. I am just a little over half way there (after how many months) and there are two people with more mission points than me (meaning they are actively earning) that are much closer that I am. I'll just keep plodding along and get there when I get there.
