Last night, already being a little after 11; she wanted to eat something. I usually have several types of snacks on hand, because I use them to decorate desserts (work issues 😉). So, I went to my private box and grabbed a bag of salted peanuts. I wrote and wrote, and at the same time my energetic teeth rattled when I chewed the peanuts.

When I finished my article, a large quantity of peanuts was almost finished as well. I've always liked peanuts, I usually eat them often. But, I had never wondered about whether it is harmful or not. I think this is one of the details that we ignore when we enjoy something.

Do you like peanuts ?🥜🥜. But, saving a little all my ignorance regarding peanuts, which by the way dates back years (I have been consuming it since I was 14), I can put a patch with the following:

  • The peanut is delicious and also boasts several versions that provide a unique touch to each of them. For my part, I have a preference for the salty and the Japanese type. Last week I had one, in its Japanese kind with a slight spicy flavor. It was delicious, the only thing is that its peel is fixed or hard, it is edible and in a short time my teeth and jaw were hurting.

  • Peanuts have good fats. They are not like the ones I eat in Buttercream, from cakes. Peanut fat is monounsaturated, positive, and encouraging. In addition to good fats, it also has several vitamins and minerals.

  • Peanuts have excellent support from studies that state that consuming it several times a week reduces the chances of suffering from cancer (especially breast). This fact pleases me, a few years ago, I had health problems with a breast. This, as a result of a blow I suffered while studying at the university.

  • If you are diabetic, you can also eat peanuts with me. And, consuming it without added salt or sugar is good for your health. Supports the action of the pancreas.
  • Peanuts, in addition to being delicious and crispy, are also important and healthy for the cognitive process. It helps a lot to reduce nerves, keep calm, reconcile memory and avoid movements, those that we also know as "nervous tics".

  • Peanut intake helps in weight control regimes. The fact is that its intake causes feelings of satiety, a fact that in the long run allows you not to walk around the kitchen hunting what to eat.

For my part, I love peanuts. I always used to see my mother eat it, she loves it too and her heart turns as a child when she sees a bag of peanuts. I don't take it for a primary health measure, just because I like it.

My father who is a farmer, when he comes to visit, apart from bringing me several kilos of coffee, he also usually brings me peanuts. Maybe he thinks I'm his little Dumbo, but this peanut he's bringing is a little smaller than the usual packaging. This peanut has its shell intact, totally natural and without anything added; just delicious peanuts.

You know? I like to eat peanuts while I write... It relaxes me, it entertains me in the typing and in the silent fight of my thoughts...
