Stop killing wild animals

Today class was interesting and kind of interactive, as the lecturer came in, we were all set at class because he came 30 minutes after the appointed time.
We were all expecting him to continue from where we stopped last week but he just started to tell us some reasons why we should stop killing of wild animals: though the topic was relevant to last week topic.

The topic look bored in the first place but later it was lively and we all contributed to it, which I will like to share.

Why we should stop killing of wild animals

He said, Animals shouldn’t be hunted and used for selfish needs of man. Hunting of animals should be banned as it creates an imbalance in environment.
The killing of animals like elephant, could make elephant gone for life on earth, because they don't easily produce, it take them years to give birth to their young ones.

It takes Elephant 22 months to carry her baby, which is approximately to two years.
The Female elephants live for 60 to 70 years, but only have about four offspring throughout their life time.
Compare to animal like rat, which could produce 10 to 15 of their young ones with 2 to 4 months.

Those hurting should go for rat and other small animals who can produce many time as possible in a year.
And also other wild animals like Tiger, should not be killed, these animal might not be in existence in the next few years if we don't stop killing them.
This are what other countries use to make money, by keeping them in cage and people pay to see them.

Every one began to share his/her own idea, we all supported him until when he said we shouldn't kill snake that instead, chase the snake out.

Laughing.....

Are you kidding us sir? That was the way we responded.

The class was so interesting today, but sincerely, snake don't bite in some other country but I wonder why Snake bites here in Nigeria.
