I almost spent my day in the hospital today and also last week.
Last week happened to be a friend, he went out to get some stuff but on his way coming back home, he just noticed that something bite him. He got home without any pain.
But when he got to a time in the evening, he was feeling feverish, we all thought is fever, we took him to health centre, when we got there, the doctor made us to understand that it was scorpion that bite him.
Immediately, they started the treatment.
On the second day, he came back home, but to my surprise, I was still sleeping on that very last week, meant that same last week, when a friend came to knock my door at midnight, "please wake up it him again" I don't just know, it was that same friend, maybe he was not treated well, when I got there, he couldn't breathe very well again.
We rush him back to health centre again.
When we got there, he took the doctor 30 minutes to attend to him, I must say this, I think this is very bad, doctors don't always rush to treat their patient, this is between life and death.
I don't really blame them, when their salary is not been paid for months what service do you expect from such doctor?
He took him some minutes to wake up from bed, and some minutes to write something down including his data. Thank God he's alive.
Today At Hospital Again
I quickly woke up in the morning and went out, not quite long I missed a call from a brother, I knew something happened because I left him in bad health when I was leaving in the morning.... I quickly ran home, I couldn't get him, later was told he has been rush to the hospital, oh my God!..... On getting there, about to enter, on the very first bed, I saw a friend of mine on the sick bed.
What could have happen last week and this week? I don't just understand. The two of them still there, receiving treatment.
I'm praying and hoping for better week again as last week and this week already stressed me with going up and down in the hospital.
I pray your friends get well sooner than later. The health sector here in Nigeria is not fully equipped tall less of them being payed handsomely.
More reason why we all have to be very cautious and aware of our physical and mental health.

The doctors are the health centers especially school health centers are not worst, i advice they should be taken to a normal hospital for them to be treated well.
Imagine a call being put to a school health center0 to request for their ambulance and the nurse in charge said the ambulance isn't available hanged up and made a very dishearten comment.
