Newbies Initiative

Hello everyone, we are glad that we publish the first task of the newbies initiative today. 10 days ago we presented the newbies that are participating in the initiative for the next 3 months in this post here. Please, feel free to check them out.

Five days ago, we had tutorial post published via @starstrings01 which was titled NEWBIES TUTORIAL: SETTING GOALS FOR THE NEXT 3 MONTHS ON HIVE which is focused on how newbies are to set their goals on Hive and also on the importance of setting goals.

While two days ago, we called for a meeting in the SMILE DISCORD SERVER where all newbies can meet and ask questions on the tutorial that was published. During the meeting a recording was made, but unfortunately, the recording ended up not having a voice in it.

To this reason, @starstrings01 made a video to compile the explanation of what was said in the post above and what was explained during the live meetup with the newbies. We publish this video above to serve as aid alongside the post that was written.

Hola a todos, nos alegra que hoy publiquemos la primera tarea de la iniciativa newbies. Hace 10 días presentamos a los novatos que participan en la iniciativa para los próximos 3 meses en este post aquí. Por favor, siéntase libre de revisarlos.

Hace cinco días, publicamos un tutorial a través de @starstrings01 que se titulaba TUTORIAL PARA NOVATOS: ESTABLECIENDO OBJETIVOS PARA LOS PRÓXIMOS 3 MESES EN HIVE que se centraba en cómo los novatos deben establecer sus objetivos en Hive y también en la importancia de establecer objetivos.

Mientras que hace dos días, convocamos una reunión en el SMILE DISCORD SERVER donde todos los novatos pueden reunirse y hacer preguntas sobre el tutorial que se publicó. Durante la reunión se hizo una grabación, pero desgraciadamente, la grabación terminó por no tener voz en ella.

Por ello, @starstrings01 hizo un video para recopilar la explicación de lo que se dijo en el post de arriba y lo que se explicó durante la reunión en vivo con los novatos. Publicamos este vídeo arriba para que sirva de ayuda junto al post que se escribió.

Para el tutorial de arriba, la tarea dada va como se lee a continuación.

NEWBIES INITIATIVE GOALS

One of the reason for setting goals is to develop a clear path, aim and direction towards personal growth. This is why this task comes first before every other task.

For your post, the following questions are what we would like you to answer:

  • What are your Hive goals by the End of the Initiative (In 3 months) in terms of Hive Power, followers, comments & engagements and any other Hive related goals you have in mind?
  • How do you plan to achieve them?
  • What challenges do you think you may likely face trying to attain these goals?

Please share your posts in the SMILE Discord Server under the #newbies-initiative-posts channel. Please share it too in the comments of this article. For the title, you can use "Newbies Initiative Task 1 - My Hive Goals For the Next 3 Months."

Kindly contact @starstrings01, if you have not received the noob role in the SMILE Discord Server. This role would make you have access to the channel #newbies-initiative-posts in the server.

To confirm if you have the role, just search for the channel in the server, if you can't find it then you don't have the role. kindly message starstrings01#8020 on discord to help you solve the issue.

Note: All entries should be published in the Hive Learners Community, and kindly make use of the tag #nbtask1 as one of your first five tags.

I still thank the lord for directing me to the right community which is @newbies-hive and @hive-learners since, I joined this community, I have learnt a lot, I have even learnt how to challenge and how to be challenged.
