In today's Alive Chat we do the weekly prize drawing for the ALIVE Burning Contest, with prizes of 200 ALIVE tokens in total, and promote your posts in our tribe interface to burn ALIVE tokens and take part in next weeks contest, Happy Burning and enjoy your Tuesday!

You can earn up to 5 tickets per day for the ALIVE Burning Contest, and @alive.chat is also upvoting the promoted posts with 20% for each token burned, plus @aliveprojects and @iamalivechalleng is following our curation trail, including comments.

Today's Topic: ALIVE Burning Contest - Weekly Prize Drawing

So to take part in the ALIVE Burning Contest you need to earn tickets for the weekly prize drawing, and you can earn up to 5 tickets per day, 1 ticket per ALIVE burned when promoting your posts (your own posts) in our tribe interface on, https://wearealiveand.social/

To prompte your post in our tribe interface click the promote button at the end of the post.

Then select how much ALIVE you want to burn, between 1 and 5 for the tickets, or more if you want, but 5 is the daily max tickets you can earn.

We will go through the promoted posts section to give contest tickets to the newly promoted posts each day, for the weekly prize drawing, and @alive.chat upvotes posts with 20% per ALIVE token burned, so 100% if 5 ALIVE is burned, plus @aliveprojects and @iamalivechalleng is following the curation trail of @alive.chat

Alive Tipping Bot

Minimum ALIVE Power to use our tipping bot is 1000 AP which allows you to send 10 tips per day, and we have 4 levels.

  • Level 1: 1k AP = 10 tips per day
  • Level 2: 5k AP = 20 tips per day
  • Level 3: 20k AP = 30 tips per day
  • Level 4: 100k AP = 40 tips per day

Use command !ALIVE in a comment to send a tip, and do make sure to add a space just before and after to make sure it works correctly.

We Are Alive Tribe

The We Are Alive Tribe is located on wearealiveand.social and the ALIVE token on Hive-engine is our native rewards token, it uses a linear rewards curve and splits the rewards 50/50 between authors/curators.

Plus we also have a miner token called ALIVEM which pay's out ALIVE tokens to 20 winners every hour, and 20% of the rewards pool goes to miners.

I actually just thought about that today, the idea is to be able to tip with a higher amount if you have burmed any ALIVE on the current or previous day, it takes a bit of coding to make it happen though, but what I have tried the last days of rewarding comments manually on promoted post just does not scale well, this way it is in the hands of the people promoting their posts to reward comments with higher tips instead.

I was thinking the easier option would be like the CTP tipping bot where the higher the ALIVE stake that you have, the higher your tips are. An extra incentive to stake more ALIVE.

How much CTP can you tip daily?

100 CTP staked = 0.10 CTP
1000 CTP staked = 0.20 CTP
5000 CTP staked = 0.25 CTP
10000 CTP staked = 0.30 CTP
50000 CTP staked = 0.40 CTP
100k+ CTP staked = 0.50 CTP

For ALIVE something like :

100 ALIVE staked = 0.10 ALIVE
1000 ALIVE staked = 0.20 ALIVE
5000 ALIVE staked = 0.40 ALIVE
10000 ALIVE staked = 0.60 ALIVE
50000 ALIVE staked = 0.80 ALIVE
100k+ ALIVE staked = 1 ALIVE

Then we would not be able to increase the number of tips per stake, which is actually important.

If it was all about coding then sure, but the tipping bot does not issue new tokens, it is paid for with earnings on @alive.chat, @aliveprojects and @iamalivechalleng, just like the prizes for our burning contest is, only the Scotbot rewards pool and the mining contract issues new tokens.
