The Needs to be Health-Conscious these days // Las necesidades de ser conscientes de la salud en estos días

Hello and welcome back to my page. I am @daniky. Today is April 16^th, and the day 74 of my entry into the #IAmAliveChallenge, an initiative presented by Eric Gustafsson @flaxz.

#HiveisAlive, i thank God for another wonderful day as this. We're already in the hot season as it's sunny here in Nigeria from the African continent of the world. This is possibly due to the depletion of the ozone layer that prevents ultraviolet radiation from reaching the earth from the sun. Nowadays we experience more of heavy hot wind accompanied by slight rainfall that lasts few minutes. Many people here sweat profusely throughout the day as dehydration is on the high side. So drinking of cold water (popularly known as pure water) at interval has become a culture here in Nigeria.

#HiveisAlive, agradezco a Dios por otro día maravilloso como este. Ya estamos en la temporada de calor porque hace sol aquí en Nigeria desde el continente africano del mundo. Esto posiblemente se deba al agotamiento de la capa de ozono que evita que la radiación ultravioleta llegue a la tierra desde el sol. Hoy en día experimentamos más de fuertes vientos calientes acompañados de ligeras lluvias que duran pocos minutos. Muchas personas aquí sudan profusamente durante el día ya que la deshidratación está en el lado alto. Así que beber agua fría (conocida popularmente como agua pura) a intervalos se ha convertido en una cultura aquí en Nigeria.

I look forward to a normal weather once again because the weather seems to be unbearable at the moment due to the intensity of the ultraviolet radiation from the sun. We're already in the temperate region of the world and can't turn back the hand of time and nature. Despite the hotness i feel grateful for life because many other people cannot survive hot weather, while some are subjected to extreme cold as well. Extreme solar radiation can lead to varieties of unpleasant health conditions if not properly curtailed. This include cataract, skin burns, fever, brain damage and oxygen depletion in the brain cells resulting to unusual fainting, excessive dehydration, high blood pressure and so on.

Espero un clima normal una vez más porque el clima parece insoportable en este momento debido a la intensidad de la radiación ultravioleta del sol. Ya estamos en la región templada del mundo y no podemos hacer retroceder el tiempo y la naturaleza. A pesar del calor, me siento agradecido por la vida porque muchas otras personas no pueden sobrevivir al clima cálido, mientras que algunas también están sujetas al frío extremo. La radiación solar extrema puede conducir a una variedad de condiciones de salud desagradables si no se reduce adecuadamente. Esto incluye cataratas, quemaduras en la piel, fiebre, daño cerebral y depleción de oxígeno en las células del cerebro que resultan en desmayos inusuales, deshidratación excesiva, presión arterial alta, etc.
