I am alive challenge - IAAC #28 - balcony gardening - quarantine day number #5

Tonight the temperatures have risen and, finally I have abandoned the robe of and the thick wool blanket. Today the sun will dawn at 05:57 and set at 20:02 for a total of 14h and 5m of light. The maximum temperature will be 20. Under these conditions, all plants can grow quite quickly. It’s the right time to work on the balcony. Remove some dry or sick branches and arrange the arrangement of the plants.

This plant has been martorized by a pair of sparrows that arrive during the day and make a deafening noise while they pitch its branches and seeds. I won’t touch her so I don’t deprive the two birds of their favorite playground. It’s a bushy succulent plant that always produces fantastic orange or purple flowers. It requires little care but it must be pruned these days also to eliminate the many dried flowers it leaves and that weaken its vigor.

The old Cactus with its long and pungent spines has finally hatched the three capsules in phantasmagoric yellow flowers of a disarming beauty. I am amazed by the shapes that nature can draw. A plant that is accustomed to living in extreme and spartan conditions turns out to be one of the best architects of the kingdom of Gaia.

This plant had fallen because the pot was too small and light and it was really bad. I had to repot it to save it. The operation of extracting the plant from the old vase was complicated by the strength of the roots that had stuck it perfectly to the old plastic vase. But now he has a new home and with a little patience he will return to his natural splendor.

This greasy climbing ivy grows thick and robust. These days it starts to churn out new branches that quickly fill the voids of my terrace. It sports small and garish yellow flowers. The only flaw is its smell which is not very pleasant. So I’m reluctant to work with this plant.

Today my back is completely unlocked thanks to several hours of sleep that I managed to do. My smile is back to being very #alive in time for stage number 28 of #iamalivechallenge.

They are plants that grow fast and have a great creativity in occupying the empty spaces of the balcony. When you commit yourself to meeting the needs of plants in the right time, nature gratifies you with shades of unique colors that leave you speechless.

Dear friend and shoe guru. I’ve seen your work and I have to say that yours is really a master activity. Now, I’m very well, I have to do two more days of quarantine, and then I’ll know if I’m fully healed. In the meantime I am always careful about this virus. You can not distract yourself with it.

Great to know you are alive and feel much better after many hours of sleep. Your plants are doing great, all thanks to the weather that is complying at the moment. I also love growing plants, especially veggies.

Hello thank you for caring about my health. I also wanted to grow something outside this balcony but, being completely exposed to the south, the only plants that grow without problems are always cacti and succulents.
