Alive Content Mastery #11 - Start Making Videos - Why?

In this video I continue my series of Alive Content Mastery and here I talk about why you want to start making videos.

The biggest reason to do videos is really that you get an order of magnitude better connection with the people that are watching it compared to if you are making blog posts.

If you are an affiliate marketer this also means you build the Know, Like and Trust that you need a lot faster.

As a sideeffect of this it's usually better paid, but that will not happen over night, it will take time and you will need to deliver value consistently.

So if you have not started making videos yet, do set it as a goal, and keep on growing as a content creator.

I like the part where you said

It's not about you, it's about the connection!

I found that very powerful and it's great that you have pointed that out... People often think that the video should about them and that they are the center of the world...

Unfortunately, that's the message which is pumped by FB, IG, and other social media networks full of selfies and fake lives...

Put your audience/follower in the first place, and try to help them in some ways... It's all about the message and connection with others...

Thanks a lot Zoltan, yeah it's all about the connection, something that even keeps some people from starting to make videos, because they do not want to be selfish so they refuse to make a video where they are talking, but that also means the connection will not be as good if they don't.

When you get that connection you are able to reach people much better, which means that your message that intends to help them also reach them better, and we are then able to do a better job of delivering value to them.

To me it is easier to do video's then to type out a post. I can easily come up with plenty to say about a topic when it's just talking. But when writing I find it much more difficult. And you are right in that it's all about the connections and getting people to relate and learn from you.
