Hi there and welcome to my vlog, my name is Erik Gustafsson and I go by the handle @flaxz on 3speak, CTPtalk and Hive.

In this video I talk about Plus 1 Success and it's day 8 so also +8 Success.

On day 8 we are encouraged to make comments and posts, and this video is my posting and a bit further down you can see 5 posts and videos that I have engaged with.

I also talk a bit about engagement and how to build it, so apart from making a good post or video that people want to engage with there is also more to be done to build engagement.

If you want engagement on your posts and videos then engage yourself, go and find posts and videos that you find interesting, comment on them, meaningful comments you want to have a discussion.

This way you are building your network, and even create relationships with the people you engage with, and that will in turn get you more engagement back to your own posts and videos, this is the cirle of engagement.

Awesome video! I can't believe how in sync I am with two creators today - you & Zoltan @ph1102. Too funny....

But yes, engagement is SUPER important & it's really a win-win situation. If done well & consistently, then that's when the followers & money comes. It brands you & also make some new friends, too. Not a bad deal.

Thanks a lot Pixie, and yes sometimes the best minds think alike, talking to other people and having discussions is the main reason to be here, the money is nice but more of added on top, and allows to get paid rather than pay for a wordpress blog, plus blogging on Hive makes you meet a lot more people, I wish you an awesome day.

Amen to all of what you said. Yes, the money is nice & soon I will be able to pay a couple of bills with it, which will be amazing. BUT I truly appreciate the engagement & learning on HIVE the most. It makes everything so much more worthwhile & KEEPS me here....if it was just money alone, I am not so sure that would keep my interest. As they say, money isn't EVERY thing & you & I recognize that! :) 😍

It's like the circle of life from the Lion King, but less majestic.
Engaging with meaningful comments because you want to and not expecting anything from it, is the best way to do it here. Everything else comes automatically.

I guess day 8 is just like any other day for you. Easy peasy.

Thanks man, yeah if it is forced then it is not going to last, and as to easy peasy, the late nights took a toll so I just had to skip part of a day and rest instead, have an awesome day.
