IAAC Day 43 | Halp! We're Out of Water!

It's Fri-YAY! For some that means the end of the work week. For me, I have another day. But it's the weekend and that's all that matters. So, now that I got back to work last Monday, perhaps now I could tell the difference between weekdays and weekends. LOL!

Major happening was we ran out of water last night. No, not the drinking kind, as I make sure I plan ahead for that. It's the tap water that comes out of the faucet. It was a water pump or water tank failure(?!) according to the building janitor. It wasn't fixed until the morning. So, imagine the pile of dishes and other stuff that had to wait before they could be cleaned and put away. Thankfully, we now have water, as tomorrow is another laundry day for me. So, my neighborhood laundry shop would be back soon, but they revised their policy and would now take twice the time to attend to our laundry -- we'll get it around four days the soonest. They had what they call "2-day virus deactivation period." They won't attend to our laundry until two days upon getting them. Hmmm.. nope, my daughter's work uniforms couldn't wait that long. We're still lucky we got water now, as one of our neighbors still had to get buckets full of water from the ground floor and bring them all the way up to the fourth.

I also shared a short clip of what I do to clear my mind when there's too much work at hand -- find time to quietly enjoy the roof top view! A few seconds is all it takes to re-energize! Good thing my boss is working from home. LOL!
