More Than Ever.. Be Thankful | IAAC 217th

Tiring. A single word to describe my work day today. I'm a bit drained. Today, I allow myself to acknowledge the feeling. I'm like a battery needing recharge. Honestly, Christmas is my least favorite season. I look forward to the new year though. Well, that's until the corona year came along.

Happy Thanksgiving to all who celebrate!

The title, I suppose, is more of a reminder for myself to be thankful. Hey, we're still around despite the plandemic, right? That's enough to be thankful, I think. I imagine a lot more folks, esp small business owners who were badly hit by the loss of income, and in my own way, I'm glad I'm not in that position.

All in a day's work. Rest when you're tired, but never quit. That's something I have come to realize over the years.

I will be a realist, and face things as they come. Like my late dad used to say, "Expect the unexpected." I will continue to hope for the best but prepare for the worst.

Incidentally, today, November 26th, would have been my late dad's birthday. He would have been 76. Here's a photo from my archive from eons ago. 😂🤣 that little girl looks familiar 😝😝 Happy birthday, papsy! 🎂🎁🎈✨

Well, the weekend is almost upon us once again. Yay! I live for the weekends. Here's a cutie photo from last night. Mowe chose to be out and about once more, so little Bon wanted to cuddle. He slept on my lap as I was doing my SL battles ⚔
